I bought one at Disney World for $30 and as I recall at the time it charged my Galacy S21 Ultra from 0 to 20% on the worlds slowest charging speed while the USB battery was getting very hot. I was getting the free replacements by the buckets right and left and the replacements looked used and also got very hot as well and could only charge my phone from 0 to 15%.

Can they fly with me on a plane?

I can fly with my 10,000 mah "brick" charger so this would not be a big deal at all.
