Fantastic buy imo
I freaking love this, worked great with my 180-600. It is light weight on my monopod and it has nice smooth rotation adjustment, it took no time to get up and running. I have a henjar plate with dual qd and i was able to keep one of my QD points locked in during use - it never budged and had a nice tight grip. Easily the best value I have found while searching for something to take some stress off of my arm. This one will stay permanently attached and live in my car.

Works and feels as Wimberley MH-100
Looks, feels, and works with my Nikon Z 100-400 and Oben CTM-2500 monopod as an improved copy of Wimberley MH-100, which I have also tested, at 1/3 of the price.

Great with my a7cII & Sigma 150-600c (~6 lbs)
I was initially worried given the low price and lack of off-site reviews, but it's very sturdy and operates smoothly. Makes monopod operation much more comfortable.

Decent Side Mount Gimbal
I got this to try using as a gimbal head on a monopod with my Olympus 150-600mm lens. It’s a third of the price of the big-name version that has the same model number. I think it’s a good value. Seems solidly built. The clamp is nice and solid and I’m confident in its ability to hold the lens. The friction range is pretty narrow, though. It’s easy to lock off and easy to fully release, but it takes a delicate touch to get the right amount of drag. (I’ve heard similar remarks about the name brand model.) With an internally zooming and focusing lens that wouldn’t really matter as long as the lens was balanced in the head. But with a lens like the Oly 150-600 - which nearly doubles in length when you zoom out - being able to dial in a little more drag would be nice. I don’t use it all the time, because the sync IS with that lens & an OM-1 is pretty amazing and allows crazy handheld shots. But if you’re shooting for long, that lens gets heavy and this head on a monopod can be an arm & shoulder saver.

Critical Failure
DO NOT trust your expensive camera and lens on this gimbal head. I loved this item when it arrived and it is a great design. However it has one fatal flaw that dropped my Canon 200-400 f/4 to the pavement. I was using the lens with my 5D mkIV attached which is far under the claimed 100lbs capacity of this piece, however when walking from one location to another the brass insert used in the threads snapped and everything came crashing down. Why they would use such a soft metal on one of the most critical connection points is absurd!

Great buy
Works great with my monopod , using 600 f6.3

Excellent for the money. If used on a monopod can swivel on end of monopod. If monopod has tripod feet you will need an additional panorama device between monopod and head. Some others come with this included so maybe worth looking into if that's your needs. If you want a "light" set up with just a monopod and camera this serves well. Nice large tightening knob.
