One of the Best
I love Earl Grey tea. But nowadays finding a good Earl Grey is so tough with the original taste. Typhoo is a really good tea and makes a very delicious cuppa. Four minutes of steeping makes the best strength tea. A splash of milk enhances the flavour more.

Typhoo Vs Twinings. Typhoo, any day !
WHY I LIKE TYPHOO: The underdog here is clearly the more honest tea. DECIDEDLY BERGAMOT FLAVOUR: No confusions, just pure, undefiled bergamot Earl Grey in every sip! Although standing at 9% bergamot flavour (.75% less than Twinings), Typhoo renders true tangy tones of the citric plant. GENUINE, HONEST PRICING 1. 25 tea bags: from INR 136 (5.46 per tea bag) to 165 (6.60 per tea bag) 2. 100 tea bags : from INR 421 (4.21/tea bag) to 447 (4.47/tea bag) And this for tea that's fuller in flavour and I'd say 10% stronger. (Pricings as in December, 2019) BREWS FASTER You would have Typhoo infuse your cup entirely in a minute or another 30 seconds. WHY I DISLIKE TWININGS: CONFUSED FLAVOUR I just can't fathom the reason underlying the overwhelmingly popular ratings of Twinings when the flavour is clearly undecided! The chief bergamot (authentic Earl Grey flavour) has undertones of rose and wood. I'd much rather have me a cup redolent of just bergamot, thank you very much! CAPRICIOUS PRICING This is what really puts me off about Twinings. Apparently if you don't buy more, they're going to rip you off! I do get economies of scale, but come on! Here's the average pricing chart for Twinings: 1. 25 tea bags: from INR 285 to INR 490. Yes! The pack I got for 285 (and I wonder how there being no lightening deal or limited time offe!) shot up to INR 484 the day next. That's going up from INR 11.40 per tea bag to 19.60 per tea bag. Seriously? 20 bucks for an ordinary, confused, light strength flavour? 2. 100 tea bags: from INR 775 to INR 991- that's from 7.75 -9.91 rupees per tea bag: the same tea that you paid 20 bucks a pop for! 'Capricious' doesn't sound too bad now, eh? And am I the only one insane here? Twinings 25 tea bags cost as much as you would pay for 100 Typhoo tea bags! What!! (Pricings as in December, 2019) SLOW-BREWING AND WEAK Not only is it lighter in strength vis-à-vis Typhoo, it takes thrice as long to brew. It can do its unsatisfactory best only upon hitting the 3 minute mark of being immersed. USEFUL TIPS: Both the teas are rather mild. To get the best flavour, you'd do great in keeping milk at the minimal if you don't intend to have them black, that is.

Good for people who like a strong cup of Earl Grey
I love the floral, limey woody flavor that comes with each sip of the Earl Grey. I love the complexity of the flavor and not knowing which will be the strongest taste in the next sip, adds to the allure of this tea. Typhoo's taste is straightforward - it feels like a flavored Assam tea. It will give you a strong brew in a minute, keep it for longer and it will start to taste bitter, woody, and a little papery (poor-quality of teabag paper). The citrusy flavor too seems forced. I am a black tea drinker, so I prefer my brew to be subtle. However, if you make your brew with milk maybe Typhoo is a good choice.

Good light tea, mild flavour
Was looking for a good light tea. Has mild flavour. Most other teas are very strong and bitter. This fits the bill. Price seems ok compared to comparable products.

Good tea
Definitely a march over Twinings Earl Grey, which has steadily been losing all flavour the past several months. I just wish the mildness of bergamot wasn't this mild, though. A notch or two higher would've made this tea perfect for me.
