Image Skincare, Daily Prevention Face Moisturiser SPF30: I tend to not think about applying sunscreen to my face when I’m just out and about my daily business. I know that most of the creams I use have a low level of protection (currently SPF 15) but realise that for proper protection that isn’t adequate. So was very happy to try this product, with its higher protection I felt I might be reducing skin damage a little. As a moisturiser I quite like it. It’s a little thicker than most creams but it does moisturise well, it applies easily, it’s not greasy and it absorbs well. It also provides a great makeup base, I actually mix with a little foundation for a very nice natural look…and I like the smell. I can’t really comment on the SPF effect at this time but I presume this has increased my protection level on a daily basis. The bit I struggle with is that it’s very expensive and I’m not sure what you’re paying for, it’s a nice cream and it provides a bit of protection but could go further for the price. I note that there are now some moisturisers on the market which offer SPF 50 so this isn’t revolutionary. That said it’s a nice moisturiser that does make my skin soft and smooth, and hopefully reduces sun damage but a bit expensive for that alone.

This is a REALLY nice moisturising sunscreen. It spreads on easily and you don't need to use too much. I have normal to slightly oily skin and find it is totally matte and makes a perfect base for makeup, which for me is a light mineral powder and a tiny bit of blusher. I really appreciate the matte effect since my foundation is matte too. It's obviously quite costly, but then being a combined moisturiser and SPF you could be saving money and application time if you'd been using 2 separate products. The tube is really big (73g when this sort of product is often a 30g tube) and should last me a while. It is advised to reapply after 40 minutes but I only apply once a day as I am not actually entering water. However, I splashed some water on my face and could see the droplets sitting on my skin as water sits on a freshly waxed car! Haha. So it seems to create a waterproof barrier.

This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine program; however this in no way influences my review, all items I request are products that I have a use for or will use and the reviews i then submit are intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers. I had to defer to the wife for this and she was mixed with regards to how this performed. She said that she felt like she had to apply a fair amount each time as her skin just soaked it up. She said her skin afterwards felt like she had applied normal sun tan lotion which is fair considering this is part of it. The pictures in the add make it appear like a beige cream foundation when in fact it was a white cream. She will continue to use it but said its not something she would purchase at the price it is and would not of bought it if she was trying it in a shop. It just didnt feel like a £62 Moisturiser.

As opposed to most sunscreens which tend to be quite greasy this offers a nice matte finish and doubles up perfectly as a make up base. You get 73g of product and I found a little goes a long way with this. The consistency is quite thick and the cream is slightly tinted. I like the fact that it is free from mineral oil, parabens, phthalates and artificial fragrance. The SPF is 30 and according to the instructions reapplication is advised every couple of hours. It would be interesting to see how the SPF 50 cream of the same brand performs in comparison as this might appeal to more people due to the higher protection. A lot of bb/cc creams and foundations already contain an SPF 30 but I’m sure this cream has its uses.

I ordered this moisturiser for my daughter as she has regular breakouts. She wanted a less oily product combined with some concealing properties which this product advertises itself as having. Unfortunately the tint was not noticeable and her breakouts still visible. At the time of review this is priced alongside some high end brands and in my opinion does not justify the cost. For us it is one we will avoid in future,
