Great product.
I've been buying zen principles moringa for about 10 years now. I'm now on my 3rd 1lb bag of this beet root. Love that it's pure powder and not some "mix" with something added. Have no issues mixing it in with my morning juice mixture (ACV, O with the following powders: Moringa, Matcha and this beetroot). Tastes awesome. Leaves me feeling good, no weird blood sugar spikes like other brands create by adding malodextrin. Keep up the great product, you gained a loyal lifetime customer.

Looks good and really smells earthy...Smells like beets to me
After having come from a product that I think had some beets in it but was highly sweetened by something to make it much much more palatable, this one was a bit of a shock. When I opened the bag, it smelled like it was from the earth....from dirt. The powder looked pretty rich. And then the taste. It's strong in that it has overpowered the taste of some of the other things I've mixed it with but it's not a bad taste. Just a taste I need to get used to. I haven't eaten a ton of beets but it's taste to me is distinct and to me, this definitely tastes like beets. I recently also bought another product that said it was beet juice. I'm thinking that product had maybe 5% beets in there...it was so diluted I couldn't taste anything. Not this one. I'll admit that I'm still having to adjust to the taste a little but if it gives me some benefits, I'm OK with that. I'll have to try different things to mix it with. Overall, I think this is a quality product and something that I would consider buying again. There are so many products out there and trying to find something that is good isn't always that easy. I think that I might have found a good one. Except the ziploc on the bag stinks...sucks. It won't seal very well.

Not as flavorful as beet juice powder but probably more beneficial.
After extensive open heart surgery, I was put on the usual baby aspirin which can have many side effects. Beets do pretty much the same thing as the aspirin - helps stop platelets from clumping. Of course the beets have other benefits. I bought and thoroughly enjoyed beet JUICE powder from microingredients (the flavor was delightful) but figured a whole beet would be more beneficial in terms of fiber etc. And it probably is. Unfortunately, this beet powder doesn't have have the "sweet-tart taste" as advertised which is unfortunate as that flavor was perfect in our homemade kefir. Perhaps I shall buy the juice powder and add it to my kefir as well. Cant really get too much beet :) Although there were no clumps in the bag the powder isn't that easy to mix into liquid which however, I wasn't expecting it to - It's a vegetable for goodness sake. Vegetables don't really 'dissolve'. interestingly, the powder itself is a washed out pink but becomes the advertised "lovely red-magenta color" in liquid.

Better quality than the beets from India
I had been buying beetroot powder from India, but really wanted to find a USA sourced product. What struck me when I first opened the package was the dark magenta color vs the lighter colored India product. It also has a richer smell and taste. IMO, all good signs of a more quality product. Only downside is the packaging b/c the powder is so messy and you’re sticking your hand down into the bag. I just poured it into a Tupperware container for easier scooping.

Taste exactly like beats
I took this product for 3 weeks straight hoping I would get some additional energ but unfortunately no change in energy output, I'm a healthy person to begin with. I was looking for an extra added edge that I did not get.

Wow.. great product!
Wow, I received this product not expecting the quality and flavor to be quite this good! I have been adding it to my daily NutriBullet drink and I looooove the flavor (and color) it adds to the drink, not to even mention the health aspects. Also, Some of my protein powders have an off taste .. this product helps that too.. I finally found that last ingredient for my drinks that has been missing!

Contains 2-3% nitrates per serving
My husband and I love this product. We use it every day dissolving it in water. According to the company, this product: "Beetroot Powder contains 2-3% nitrates. This translates to 120-180 mg of nitrates per serving (6g)". Good to know.

Great stuff!
I was used to buying the other commercial brands that contained more sugar and chemicals. However; after making the switch to this brand which has less sugar, chemicals and more fiber, I wonder how well I'd like it. Initially, yes I didn't like it so much, but it didn't take more than a few days before the flavor and some grit was not a problem at all. I'll be placing my 2nd order real soon, as I'm blowing through this bag. I take 2 scoops, 3 x's a day. The benefits of beet root juice is real! I'm also noticing sharper cognitive function as well.
