Great story
I really enjoyed this story and the characters were a lot of fun. I felt bad for the lives Finn and Scottie were handed but they fought for every piece of happiness they found. The side characters were hysterical and so much fun and hearts of gold . Spice level is 1, but the story was fantastic.

Amazing book.
This is without a doubt the best book Max Monroe has ever written. It was a real joy to see all the great old characters and their kids! The new characters are amazing . Beautiful love story that makes you laugh and cry and think about life and how love and family is everything. Thanks Max Monroe.

Worth the curve
Finnley started college with the intention of purposely meeting the half brother who never knew that Finn and his siblings existed. The brother, Ty , is his English professor and a well known member of the community. In fact, Ty and all of his siblings are not only well known, but each have prospered in their own fields and are living very comfortably, unlike Finn and his siblings. By chance, Finn meets Scottie on the first day of school and is intrigued by her. Like a magnet, the two are drawn to each other. As Finn figures out how to introduce himself as to Ty as a brother rather than just a student, Scottie’s ex-boyfriend pulls an unacceptable and tragic prank that will not only affect the future of Finn and Scottie, but the future of both Finn’s family and Ty’s family. The learning curves in their relationship is steep but Finn and Scottie both learn that good things are worth fighting for.Max Monroe brings to us the next generation of the Winslow fam and the billionaire friends. These kids are the hilarious spawn of such memorable heroes and heroines and are just as spunky. Having the Winslow family grow in such a special way is beautiful. These authors also tackle the very heartbreaking subject of alcoholism, parenthood, and abuse. These heavy topics, although hard to speak about, were crucial in building the relationships between these new found families and ultimately allowed them to build a bond with each other once they realized that they were not bound by the boundaries of alcoholic parents. For Finn and Ty, that meant drawing new lines for a family. For Finn and Scottie, that meant true love, even in the face of absolute disaster. When they’re faced with the ultimate challange that could rip them apart, it’s the reminder of that love that keeps them together because hard work is worth it.

A Max Monroe Unlike Anything I’ve Read!!!
“When I say I love you, I mean it. When I say you have me, I mean it. Nothing will change for me. We’re kindred. Meant to be. And I refuse to move forward without you. You have me. Period. End of story.”I have read many of Max Monroe’s books but this book here is unlike any book of theirs I’ve read. To say they truly outdid themselves in unimaginable ways doesn’t even begin to describe Learning Curve.I’m use to the belly aching laughs, the ridiculous over the top hilarity, the warm feels that comes with friendships and family bonding and camaraderie that is Max Monroe’s trademark charm…don’t get me wrong, this book had that but so much more. All the emotions that hit had me in a complete tailspin. I in no way was expecting to get in my feelings the way I did. I found myself angry and in tears from secondhand heartache. I mean she put Finn and especially Scottie through it. I found myself literally asking why Max Monroe why!?!The angst, the drama, the secrets, the twists, the falling, the love and again THEE heartache. I just could not and did not want to put this book down. I was riveted, hooked up on every single word. Finn was all broody but a total sweetheart once he fell. Scottie, phew talk about strength personified. They had so much to learn, about life, each other, love and everything in between. They were messy, flawed, vulnerable, perfectly imperfect and I loved it. At times, they were exactly what you’d expect from college teens but at others, they carried a maturity, wisdom and tenacity of those twice their age. Their story was nothing like I expected yet blew any and all expectations out the water.I lost count of how many times I was literally laughing out loud and shaking from laughing tears. There were also so many moments that left my heart so full, overflowing with joy and happiness. The Winslows, Hayes, Klines, Lancasters, Kellys and the new found friends all in one book was pure absolute hilarious chaos and oh how I loved it!This book felt good in all the best ways and it hurt like h3ll in other ways. Max Monroe, you’ve done with your big one with this and I cannot wait for more of this series! Definitely a fave of this year! And is it too early to already declare this one of my favorite second generation series??

👍
Wow! What a way to start a series! I found this story extraordinary. The relationship between Finn and Scottie was so intensely heartfelt. Their Individual story gutted, and inspired me. It was such fun to have the characters who started it all make an appearance. For me it was nostalgic and made me smile.I cried, laughed, and my heart was full of love for this story. This was a beautiful story and I'm looking forward to the series! ❤📖❤

I love this writing duo
I absolutely love this writing duo, they’ve brought me hours upon hours of joy. I love their characters, their stories, the spice in all their books, this one just wasn’t for me.Finn and Scottie’s story has way too much going on and I really struggled to stick with this book. It just didn’t hold my attention like their books normally do. I think it this book could’ve been wrapped up in 400 pages instead of 600, I might’ve been able to stick with it. Or maybe it’s because I have kids that are the same age as Finn and Scottie and I couldn’t relate to the story. I don’t know, it just isn’t for me. But it won’t deter from picking up their next book (I’m really hoping it’s Blake and Lexi)!I will say that Ace Kelly, yep…Thatch and Cassie’s son, stole the show for me throughout this book. I just love this freaking kid!

Over the top
Usually I really like Max and Monroe books, but this one was just to much. Everything was exaggerated. In my humble opinion, the romance was lacking, no depthness, just a push-pull relationship. And for most of the book I was annoyed with the way that Finn was dealing with everything.Last but not least, can some explain to me what was the intent behind the last 10% of the book? If they just had done that in the middle of the book...but in the end?Overall, was not the greatest book from them.

What a rollercoaster! 🎢
First and foremost, a huge thank you to Max Monroe and Hambright PR for the ARC—this book was truly a journey.University/college romances with a healthy dose of drama are the very reason I got back into reading about three years ago. However, after a while, I found that many books in this genre started to feel repetitive. Not due to a lack of effort from the authors, but because the genre seemed to take a single direction that everyone followed, readers included. As a result, I quickly grew bored of reading the same dynamics and storylines over and over again. But Learning Curve finally brought this genre back to its former glory for me. The plot is full of twists—some more believable than others—but all undeniably entertaining. I was hooked from the very first chapters, and so much happened that it truly felt like a journey.I especially loved how the authors shifted the focus between Finn and Scottie, making both protagonists equally compelling with their own layers and subplots. They didn’t neglect the secondary characters either—Ace, Julia, Blake, the siblings, the families—each one played a vital role in making the story complete. They added humor, warmth, and the perfect finishing touch. Now, if you’re wondering why I gave it "just" 4 stars despite all the praise, it’s because of the final plot twist involving the FMC. While I loved the drama, I felt this particular twist was a bit too much. I understand what the authors were trying to convey with that storyline, but I believe the themes of unconditional love and ethical dilemmas had already been successfully addressed. That last twist felt a bit overdone to me.That said, I absolutely can’t wait to dive into Blake and Lexi’s story next! Ace and Julia’s will no doubt be my favorite (I already know it), and maybe we’ll even get to see Kayla and Reece’s story too? Fingers crossed! 🤞

Do not expect to read yourself to sleep with this book.
I read at night, to relax and sleep. Usually, a couple of pages is enough to send me to sleep. Even when I wake up during the night, I can always read myself back to sleep fairly quickly. Even with my favourite authors. Five hours after starting this book, I was still wide awake. The last time that happened was… go figure; when I read ‘What I Should Have Said’. Be warned - this book is addictive.

another book boyfriend to add to the list!
If anything, each and every book just gets better and better that these two authors release. Learning Curve has everything and everyone that I love from the Billionaire Bad Boys series and the Winslow Brothers series. It’s got the humour that will have you snorting really unattractively, a swoony guy that will become a book boyfriend, a heroine that’s relatable and admirable, and a storyline that grips you. This book tugged on so many of my heartstrings, broke my heart and fixed it a fair few times. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. It is an amazing book that I highly recommend. I loved Scottie, her resilience despite everything that’s been thrown at her, you couldn’t help but feel for and love her. Finn really is book boyfriend material, and he’s just gets better and better throughout. I loved getting to see the kids of the first gen and I’m really hoping they get their stories. I’ve loved seeing the 1st gen couples and seeing that they’re just as brilliant regardless of age and parenthood. Loved seeing Thatch… I’d still Thatch that and Cassie is still my favourite heroine. Loved being back in that world, and it’s made me want to do a reread of them all. Although you don’t have to have read the other series to enjoy it, I’d definitely recommend it because they are brilliant.I loved all the new sides characters and I’m already counting down for the next book in this new series. I hope we get to see more of Scottie and Finn enjoying their lives together.Really loved this book
