These 500 IU Vitamin D Drops are, in my opinion, a very safe and easy way to supplement Vitamin D, an essential nutrient. The older you are, the more important Vitamin D supplementation can be, as it has some hormonal effects and is important for bone, skin, and eye health. K2 is also an excellent bone-builder in its own right. Personally, I supplement with somewhat high levels of D and have my blood tested every 6 months to keep it at 70 or so. My intake varies, depending on how much sun exposure I get in a day (I spend time outside, whenever I can). i take 1 NOW Foods Vitamin K-2,100mcg, 100 Vcaps and 6000 iu (12 drops of this 500 iu Thorne D3) daily, on average. In winter, I double that. For my age (over 40) and gender (female), that seems to work very well at keeping me at my goal of 70. I actually bought this lower-dose 500iu for my hubby (who needs less), but simply take more drops myself to get what I need, just to simplify our supplements.Dosages are SO individualized & really depend quite a bit on your genetics and the general state of your health. I had my gene print "read" at 23andme & some analysis through promethease definitely showed that I have a genetic proclivity toward a greater-than-average need for Vitamin D.My best advice is to get your bloodwork done FIRST, then get medical advice as to a starting dosage to raise your levels. Very good quality and great way to get your daily recommended dosage of vitamin d. I mix it with my morning drink of choice. No taste.

I had read the reviews on this Vitamin D3 and saw that the dropper didn’t work so well on many people’s bottles. Mine works fine. Slight wait for it to come out, but not bad. Barely any taste at all. Great product. Will buy again.

The Thorne vitamin D is amazing. I love the Thorne brand. Love the product, but bottle could use a better design to get the product out. It drips very slowly... Very slowly. Other than that I like it. I'll probably buy it again just because it is a good product. I only gave 4 stars for the bottle. The product is 5 star.

We have been using this Vitamin D liquid drops since we got it last month. It is excellent! I have been giving it to my kids religiously per my doctor's recommendation of 1000IU/25 lb of weight. I will honestly say, they have gotten sick much less this winter than every other winter! Vitamin D is an immune modulator and if you are low, which most people are around here, you will tend to get sick more often. This has been our experience. I have tried the drops and they don't really taste like anything. For my kids, I drop the vitamin D into their juice or beverage in the morning before school. They have never once complained about it. The drops do sit on top of the liquid and sometimes they comment on that but it does not stop them from drinking it down. I highly recommend these flavorless drops for kids or adults. It's so much easier than taking a pill or even a chewable. Try it!

It takes a while for the drops to come out, but it is worth it. I let it drip onto a spoon.No smell no taste. Clear liquid.

Good quality, seems to help me in the winters. The dropper cap does not work well at all and it's very difficult to get drops out. I had to put in a different container with a glass dropper. Was packaged well and arrived quickly without issue. Because of the dropper issue and price, I will be switching to the Now brand next time.
