This product has been a game changer for my mom with dementia. She is able to feel accomplished and is able to do it herself. It is also not messy which is wonderful. Great product!

Great item for dementia patients,especially those who are artists.Have been doing it with my Mom and other patients.

This was a hit in my church’s Alzheimer’s meeting. The water brushes made the process easy and was complete within 10-15 minutes. When everyone was done with their sheet, they were surprised and overjoyed with their individual final picture (brilliant color). Most importantly, little mess, little cleanup and sheets water color eventually disappears and can be used for another group. Definitely a “cool” entertainment project for seniors that may or may not be challenged.

I bought this for my grandma whom has had dementia for about 10 years. Recently she has gotten worse and now no longer remembers who anyone is. She's gotten to the point that she remembers that she has kids and she remembers their names, but she doesn't recognize them. We found that it is best to do activities with her that are easy, but help her not to think about the fact she can't remember anyone. This set was great. The main problem with it is that the brushes are horrible. I would suggest using a cup of water and a thicker paint brush. Or investing in some better water brushes. The pictures are beautiful. My grandma will "paint" and she will like doing it. But then she forgets about them, so they are new to her again. It's sad, but it's nice that there is something like this for someone who does not have the mobility to really paint anything, but also makes them feel like they are creating something, then you can reuse them over and over again. I would really recommend this to someone that is having a hard time keeping a loved one busy, that forgets very quickly. Unfortunately it's a sad reason to need this, but it does help those family members or friends that are trying to entertain their dementia patient loved one.

Cleaver and engaging for adults with advancing dementia.

I wasn't sure this would be something my mom would take to, but she is immersed. It's hard to get many dementia sufferers to do art, because the abstract concepts of creating something from nothing are sometimes too hard for them to navigate or seem to big. This product approaches it from another direction. It provides the visual stimulus of a screen, the focus and attention, the relaxation of creating something, and something to occupy their hands. And most of all, there is no wrong or right. They get colors and results no matter how they "paint". They are also reusable. The water evaporates and the pictures go back to their starting point, so they can be "painted again". I was surprised at this, because quite honestly, one box has enough to keep her satisfied for years to come. I highly recommend this for anyone who has a loved one with dementia.

What I appreciate about these is they don’t actively say “for elderly dementia patients” on the box. I get them for my developmentally disabled sister who is in her 20s and is neither elderly nor has dementia. Like, obviously I’m fine with them being coded like that on Amazon so people can find them, but THANK YOU for not printing it on the literal box.

My father in law has dementia and has really enjoyed art projects lately, when I purchased this for him I was unsure of he’d enjoy it, but he did! He loved this and we do these on our visits outside with the kids. It’s fun and easy for him to do.

Great for my daughter who is 10 and has a brain injury. She loves water coloring and we were tired of preschool water color books! These are perfect.

I use these with my students and they are very strong and durable. Less water is better with these, but they can withstand ALOT. My students are pretty rough with these and I am impressed with how well they still work! Would recommend and you get a nice amount for the price.

Simple, fun, beautiful, reusable. A bit hit with our senior. Nice thick brush. Only downside is that only one brush works.
