Stylish and Functional Case with Excellent Airflow
The NZXT H5 Flow is a fantastic mid-tower PC gaming case that combines sleek aesthetics with functionality. Here’s what makes it stand out: High Airflow Design: The perforated front panel ensures excellent airflow, keeping temperatures low even during intense gaming or workloads. The included 120mm fans enhance cooling out of the box. Tempered Glass Panels: The tempered glass side panel showcases your components beautifully, making it ideal for RGB builds. Compact Yet Spacious: Despite its compact size, the case accommodates full ATX motherboards, large GPUs, and up to a 280mm radiator for liquid cooling. Cable Management: Cable management is easy with the well-designed routing channels and ample space behind the motherboard tray, resulting in a clean and organized build. Build Quality: The materials feel sturdy, and the case is well-constructed. The fit and finish are excellent, as expected from NZXT. Ease of Use: The layout is builder-friendly, with tool-less panels and easy access to all components during assembly. Overall: The NZXT H5 Flow is a great choice for gamers and PC builders looking for a stylish case with excellent airflow and build quality. It’s compact, functional, and offers plenty of room for customization. Highly recommend!

Can't Go Wrong W/ H5 Flow
Let me start by saying that this is a great case. The build quality is excellent. I had no intentions of ever doing any kind of liquid cooling. Although a custom cooling solution can be placed here, I don’t think the case is suitable for a full-fledged liquid solution due to the closed off bottom, limiting space. All the fans were from NZXT, until I updated 3 of them with a Corsair LL120 RGB 3-pack kit. The toilet 120mm, and front 140mm fans remain as I didn’t want too much lighting. (See before and after pics). The only real gripe I had was actually my fault. Although the case is rated for a max GPU length of 360mm (approx. 14.17 in.), and the GPU I bought is 344mm (approx. 13.5 in). I failed to account for the measurements for the Z bar that the XFX Radeon 7900 XT included for support. I do suggest an alternate solution for support for the big GPUs as one, it is absolutely necessary, and two, there are solutions that will easily fit in this case. (see Z bar pics and alt. support bracket I very quickly swapped to). I also included a pic with my old Radeon 5500 XT, which easily fits and doesn’t require support. The spacing for cable management is excellent, although due to the toilet (gpu) fan, you don’t get the entire bottom for cables, hence using cable extensions can cause cluttering quickly. There are lots of “paths” for cables which help organize, as well as lots of velcro straps attached to the case, and loops for adding more of your own as needed. Nothing much else to say, overall, I am very happy with the case. Looks great, and in my opinion, it is very versatile and best for an air cooling solution. It does only come with the toilet and rear fans. I do highly recommend adding the maximum amount of fans for the best air-flow. Furthermore, I would only use 140mm front fans for best intake. If I had the space, I would’ve gone with an H7, but you can’t go wrong with the H5 Flow.

Would buy again.
Very nice case and easy to work with. Looks great and good value for the money. A good size and easy to remove the glass cover for maintenance, it functions as it should. It makes all my lights look nice and bright.

Great case
This case came highly recommended on several PC building blogs and sites. After using it, I can see why. The cable management is intuitive, and the airflow is very good. I bought some extra fans and an AIO CPU cooler, and all of that was easy to install. This case made my first PC build go smoothly.

a decent case from an established brand
So, when this is on sale (about 60 USD) I think it is great value. This case looks very clean, nothing particularly flashy. It isn't difficult to build in unless you really care to try to cable manage, but that is true for almost all cases. Here are some pros and cons after building in it for the first time. Pros: Size - this case is a mid tower case, it houses an ATX motherboard without feeling excessively large or too small to build in. Pre-installed fans - there are two fans installed, one for the front intake and one for the back exhaust. While buying more fans is better, having some airflow regardless is nice. Cable management - one of my favorite components of this case are the options for cable management. There are many well disguised holes to slide and hide cables through. I can completely hide cables for fans. There are trays on the back with straps to tie around cables, which makes it easy to keep cables where they need to be. There is also a lot of space at the bottom for cables from the power supply, especially convenient with cable extensions. Functionality - there is lots of space and it is easy to build in. Cons: No holes for intake under the power supply - I think this is my biggest gripe with the case. I always like to place the power supply so the fan is taking in cool air from outside the case. It shouldn't matter too much, but I think the fan on the power supply might be louder as a result. Quality is not exceptional - some paint on the case chipped pretty easily. Also, the screws that hold the metal backplate of the GPU on the case don't line up perfectly and there is a small gap between the metal backplate and the PCIe slot cover. Overall, would recommend this case especially when it is on sale.

Good and simple case
2024 Model: Lots of space for 120mm and 140mm fans, although there is unfortunately a 3x 120mm cutout in the front that looks awkward for 2x 140mm fan layouts. Great airflow, though the PSU oddly doesn't have an option to have bottom intake, which leaves it potentially competing with the GPU for air. Most panels are easy to remove and have screw retention washers for convenience. Pretty basic I/O on the front. I'd like to see some extra USB-A or USB-C ports but for a case at this price point, I understand why they were left out. Great options for cable management as well. I like the thinner mesh design compared to the 2022 model, minimal but classy. 2022 Model: Shares most of the praise for the 2024 Model. The "toilet bowl" underside fan is an interesting choice, it's unique but unobtrusive. The front panel fan plate is a little awkward to uninstall and reinstall, but it's not a deal breaker.

Nice Case, cable routing and bottom tilted fan
I bought a used PC in this case, after doing a little maintenance I really liked the cable management system including velcro straps already installed. The big feature I liked was a 45* angled fan which points at your GPU. I had done this in my old PC case by installing an old CPU fan with velcro about 45* pointing at my GPU. It really helps push cool air into the gpu and lower your temps. So I ordered this case and an Artic Liquid Freezer II 240 and transferred everything over. Go ahead an get one, you will not regret it. It has offsets for different mobo's some you may not need, so check the screw layout before dropping the board in there. Glass side, metal side and front are all removable. The front has a mesh filter inside, so you might want to consider some higher static pressure fans, if you don't already have them, to pull higher volume of air through that mesh, but it keeps dust out of your system. Mine is set up as a positive pressure system. Cable management is easy and nicely done, watch some video reviews. it also has a place to mount a fan controller if you need that as well. I just wish I had recorded my before and after temps for you. I only leave reviews with 5 stars if I believe it honestly deserves it. No case is perfect, but NZXT did a great job on the H5 Flow ! Only suggestion I would make with "any" case is the make the magnetic cover on top configurable because you don't need to filter the air flowing out of the radiator if it is a top mount crating more resistance. If they included some magnetic strips, you could cut the mesh on top apply the magnets and allow open flow and filter any air entering the sides. I have a couple of ideas to modify this and allow better flow through the radiator exhaust. I usually do a push/pull configuration which shouldn't be a problem (except cutting a small hole to run the fan wires thru the holes on top. I may remove the connector to run the wires through and existing hole instead of cutting the case.)

Fits a full water loop!!
Small chassis with big chassis room. I fit both a 360mm and 240mm radiator in the case and a pump red combo and had room for my water cooled GPU. This was definitely the best case I’ve ever purchased simply for room and ease of access. If your looking for a clean budget friendly case this is what you should buy!! Ryzen 7 8700F and RX 6800XT
