At first, I was skeptical until I did the research on the "science" of Negative Ions and how they purify the air. So I ordered these because they were less expensive than others and plugged them in right away. I am impressed! These negative ion air purifiers have no noise and our home has no cat odors or cooked food odors. I have them in our bedroom and kitchen and near the cat litter box. I also noticed there is no evidence of dust mite excrement when I vacuum our mattress which helped my allergies immensely!

My house is dusty open and window and it's like the dustbowl. After 3 days of plugging them in some light came through the window and I couldn't see dust flying around. Also my allergies had lessened due to less dust these do not have any noise to them that I can tell and it was super easy to use take it out of the box find a plug in the bedroom the kitchen the master bathroom the living room and plug it in

You want fresher air, open a window when it's cooler and less humid outdoors. I got a 4 pack box of these so-called "air Ionizer Purifier" for home use. They plug into a regular AC outlet and basically it does NOTHING but produce a dim blue light, even worse than a simple LED nightlight and more expensive too. I've been using these things for nearly 1 year in my living room and bedroom, both not very big rooms as I live in a smaller apartment. I saw NO benefits from this cheap Asian/foreign rubbish. I even took a couple of them apart to photograph them to prove what's inside these so call "Air Ionizer" units.....a tiny computer chip, a few wires and an odd brownish weight with wires going into it, as if that's an actual Ionizer.....yeah right. Basically this is a quiet, but overpriced dim blue night-light that does nothing else but produce a dim, but nice blue light. I am "impressed" that it even "passed" the quality test by them putting a "Passed QC" sticker on the backside of all of them, as if that really means ANYTHING. You want a real air ionizer unit, but a larger one that's at least 12 to 18 inches in height and a well known name brand that will do the job this piece of crap claims [but does not] do in terms of purifying the air inside your home, office or apartment. 1 star.

This device DOES produce negative ions, but the ion output is low with respect to other negative ion generators that I currently own. A KT-401 ion measuring device is not needed to measure the output of negative ions. This can be done with a simple multi-meter. Note: Negative generators can provide mild static sparks. Do not use any ion generator anywhere that there is natural gas or any flammable fumes in the atmosphere, as this could result in a fatal explosion. Perform the following tests at your own risk. If you do not know how to safely use a multi-meter, then do not perform the following tests. Measuring the device output with a multi-meter: 1. Plug the device in a bathroom wall-plug near a sink. Make sure that the device is away from other metal objects and appliances that might ground out the device. 2. Power-on the multi-meter and attach or hold the BLACK negative probe of the multi-meter to the faucet. This provides a grounding point for the multi-meter. 3. Hold the RED positive probe of the multi-meter within about 3 inches of the device. The meter should read between 0 and -20mV. This indicates a flow of negative ions from the device to the meter. 4. If you choose this method to measure other negative ion generators, be sure to hold the RED probe much further from the device as it may read a much higher voltage at 3 inches.

Seems a fine product... wonderful world of ions & air quality.

We noticed a distinct difference in our air quality just after pluggin in our new four pack ionizers. My husband and I are both feeling healthier just by having placed these great devices in our main living areas. There was such a marked difference in our air quality that we bought another four pack for the rest of our home. We would highly recommend buying these units if you want to breath better, cleaner air.

Good vision in daylight or when lights are on at night,very sensitive sound

Makes clean air.

2 out of 4 are buzzing when u plug them in. I left them plugged in for over 4 hours and couldn't even smell any negative ion coming out of them despite putt my nose right next to it. Returning.
