Effective and durable
I absolutely love this bubble ! We've been using this very same one for a little over a year and still works like new! We purchased another one recently just in case, cause you never know 😉 I have it in my cichlid 60 gallon tank. We place it in the middle of the tank so it distributes the waves evenly. I prefer this over the air stones and regualr bubbles because it mimics river waves.

Nice
Best wave maker for me, as for my 15G reef tank adds a nice clean flow and has my reef tank in optimal peak condition

Great product
Quiet with great flow. I have one along with a fluval fx2 filter on a 75 gallon and it's almost too much flow. I'm not sure the ones complaining know where to place them. Nothing is able to collect on the bottom. Exactly what I was looking for.

Used CP3: Too noisy, New CP2: Super Quiet!
This is a good wave maker and I bought it used because it stated as almost new and to save money. I liked the wave maker; however, its advertised as quiet and it's definitely not quiet. I don't know why many people are saying its quiet for them and satisfied. For me, its definitely loud. Perhaps the person who had it before me returned it for the same reason. Maybe this one is defective or something is going on making the vibration too loud. I had to return it, and just get a new one. I'll post an update if it gets resolved. Update: Wow!! My new CP2 is so quiet!! It does enough surface agitation for my corner piece 55 gallon tank due to being taller than wide. I am so happy compared to the used CP3 I received before.

Great for Saltwater
Very quite and works great for my 15 gal saltwater tank. My anemones love the current this wave maker produces.

Suction cups stopped sucking in less than a month.
Rolled my dices on this even with all the bad reviews. It worked well for less than a month. The suction cups stopped working. The power head won't stay mounted. The flow on this is good for a 60 gallon or less. No more than that. I bought this to supplement my mp40 in a 90 gallon tank and it barely does any good. If it had a magnet option too I'd keep it. Don't waste your money.

Very gentle current
This works great for me. I use it to introduce a very gentle current on the bottom of a 30gal tank to push the solids toward the intake of the filter. When I first turned it on, it sounded horrible, like ungreased bearings were going to vibrate the plastic housing apart but the noise eventually worked itself out. I can't even hear it anymore. Low suction power which is what I wanted.

Works great.
Fluval is one of my favorite aquarium products and this pump did not disappoint. Great price and holds up very well.
