incredible and portable hammock
My kids always wanted a hammock but we don't have trees close to each other in our backyard where we can hang one and I didn't want to get a bulky standalone metal hammock stand that we don't have a place to store away during winter but this portable and foldable hammock stand is truly a game changer! My kids are loving it and fighting over this now and I know they will even fight over it more during the summer next year! It was super well packaged and inside the box was a super sturdy storage bag with carrying handle as well as shoulder strap. It's easy to carry but it's not super lightweight storage bag either because the aluminum frames are super heavy duty. I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to open it up and setup the hammock. It literally took less than a minute to open and set it up once we got familiar with the setup. Oh, and the setup instructions are attached inside the storage bag with illustration, which is very handy. I love how it also incudes the shade and a cup holder, which is perfect during the summer when using it under the sun. The hammock itself is folded inside a pouch, which is attached to the hammock so you will never misplace it. They really thought of everything when designing this amazing portable hammock. I'm 5'11" tall and I was very comfortable inside the hammock as it wrapped my body around with plenty of space around my arms and legs. I'm planning to use it on our backyard for my kids but I can't wait until I take this out to a local park or even a beach during the summer next year, which I'm sure will get plenty of attention from other people. Love it!

Adjustable Portable Aluminum Alloy
Most weekends I’m out car camping somewhere — either out in the desert or tucked up in the canyons chasing good weather. I’ve gone through plenty of portable hammock setups over the years, and here’s what I’ve found after spending some time with the Anymaka. PROS: -Super easy to toss in the trunk -Once set up, it feels solid and stable, no creaks or wobble, even when I shift my weight -Setup takes just a couple minutes, all intuitive, no tools, no frustration CAVEATS: -Works best on firm, flat ground. On soft desert sand or uneven dirt, the legs can sink a bit, but it’s easy to lift and reposition. -The hammock requires a bit of tension at first to prevent sagging, which can make getting in feel slightly tricky. Once you find the right setup, it’s much easier. Stepping on the frame slightly while lowering yourself in helps a lot, and to get out, pivot toward a corner with your heels under your hips—this keeps your balance and makes standing up smoother and safer. CONS / MINOR ISSUES: -For extremely tall users, legs may feel slightly cramped depending on hammock length. SUMMARY: Overall, this Anymaka hammock stand is an excellent combination of portability, sturdiness, and ease of use. Perfect for backyard lounging, car camping, or where you want to take a hammock without relying on trees. Just know that it’s optimized for convenience and compactness, so some compromises on wind and terrain stability are expected.

Nice
This stand is very practical and easy to use. It feels really sturdy and stable, and the quality is better than I expected. It’s also lightweight and convenient to carry around, which is a big plus. My kids love it and we can place it anywhere indoor or front yard,.

Easy Setup, Rock-Solid, and Way More Flexible Than Tree Straps
I’ll be honest—I really like this anymaka hammock stand. A little context first: I didn’t buy this expecting to haul it deep into the backcountry on a week-long backpacking trip. If you’re counting every ounce in your pack, this probably isn’t the setup you’re looking for. But for everything else? It’s been great. Most of my hammock time isn’t hardcore camping anyway. It’s backyard afternoons, beach days, parks, and hanging out at friends’ places. I wanted something that didn’t rely on finding the perfect trees, digging holes, or being limited by the terrain—and that still felt stable once I was in it. This stand does exactly that. Setup Setup is way easier than I expected. From pulling it out of the bag to actually lying down in the hammock takes maybe one minute. Design & Comfort Adjustability is a big win for me. Being able to tweak the height and length makes it work with different hammocks and lets you dial in how much sag you want. Once it’s set, it feels solid—no sketchy movement or wobble when shifting around. If I had to nitpick, sure, it’s not ultralight and it’s a bit bulky compared to minimalist setups. But that’s clearly the trade-off for how stable and durable it feels, and for my kind of use, I’m totally fine with that. Is It Worth the Price? It’s definitely not the cheapest option out there. You could always hang a hammock between two trees and call it a day. But if you want the freedom to set up almost anywhere—no trees, no restrictions, no stress—and actually relax without worrying about stability, the value becomes

Perfect for busy moms who want to relax
I'm a mom of two and my kids are always wanting to be outside, constantly. Whether its in our backyard, camping, going to parks, you name it, they want to be outside. I love hammocks but our old stand had almost a million pieces and always took forever to put together and setup. Not fun when you're also trying to stop your kids from climbing trees or eating dirt. I've also tried the fold up camping chairs but those are more for making s'mores than actual relaxing. This stand is a total lifesaver. It literally pop opens in seconds, clicks into place and feels super sturdy, no wobbling at all! I can fully chill in it, even with my toddler crawling inside for snuggles. I've even had people at the park ask where I got this. The stand does have some weight to it but compared to holding 2 kids, it weighs about the same. Super easy to use and super safe, even when my kids are climbing inside whether I'm in it or not. Not to mention, it holds my hammock very securely without it ever loosening up too much. Functions as it should too. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Surprisingly solid setup – a few trade-offs, but worth it
Saw this in a video from The Travel Tool Kit a while back and couldn't stop thinking about the design. I ended up doing some serious homework-watched pretty much every review and read through tons of customer feedback before finally pulling the trigger. Yeah, it's over $300, which is definitely steep compared to a regular hammock, but honestly? It saves me from constantly hunting for the perfect trees and struggling with setup. Totally changes the experience. I've used it a few times now-once by a lake, once in my backyard-and setup is way faster than I expected. The frame locks in nicely and feels sturdy once it's up. The canopy gives decent shade, which came in handy on a sunny day. Only thing is, installing the canopy takes a bit more time, and it's not super intuitive at first. Took me a couple tries to get it down. It's not lightweight by any means-so don't expect to take it on a long hike. But for car camping, beach days, or just lounging in open areas without trees, it works really well. All in all, it's a smart, well-designed system with a few minor quirks, but nothing that’s a deal breaker.

Not fit for 5’4”. Hammock hurts legs if sitting
The hammock settings don’t work for me. I’m 5’4”. The settings are either too low and I hit my body on the bar or too high where I’m not tall enough to get into the hammock well. I needed an inbetween setting. Chair setting: I wanted to use it as a chair but the fabric hurts the bottom of my legs when I sit in it. In the pictures, the back can go up at the top of the persons head but I felt it was not the case. There was a lot of fabric that wasn’t tight so I had to lay down no matter what. I couldn’t get it to be tight above the head so no matter what I had to lay down. The hammock bars and setup: these are amazing and they are correct, it sets up in only a few seconds. I did feel it was heavy but at the same time it’s sturdy. The idea is great and I was hoping it would work for me.
