Good quality smooth tasting, tastes like a similar "high end" brand I purchased while visiting Japan and brought back. Worth the cost. I will definitely purchase this again.

The tea is quite fragrant as soon as you open up the pouch, even more so when properly brewed. The leaves are very green, seem to be fresh, and of good quality.Overall, I'd describe the notes as bright and a little bitter towards the end. For someone who is new to green teas, or prefers things less bitter, this sencha could be a good fit as it does lean towards a lighter taste.Since it's been rather hot lately, I've been letting this slow-steep in the fridge with cold water to have as an iced tea instead. It doesn't take away from the taste at all and still retains that bit of bitterness.
