high quality and effective, particularly for neuropathy pain

This is a review of HMS Nutrition’s “R-Lipoic Acid.” It comes in 300 mg pills, which is the basic dose. There are many medical trials that use 600 mg, so doubling the dose is easy. Alpha lipoic acid naturally is formed of two isomers, called R- and S-. All health benefits are attributed to the R- isomer. However, the S- isomer interferes with the R- isomer’s benefits. The beauty of this produce is that HMS has isolated the R- isomer, eliminating the S- isomer from its product so as to provide all of the R- isomer’s benefits. This form is often referred to as RALA (R α-lipoic acid) or R-LA. But this product has been taken a step further. It has been stabilized with a bit of sodium, which stabilizes the R-LA and allows for better absorption by the digestive system. This form is often referred to as Na-RALA. I have been taking alpha lipoic acid for years. I switched to this product for all of the benefits of a truly stable lipoic acid that has no S- isomer. Otherwise, my health benefit for the cost of any other formulation with R- and S- isomers is very poor. HMS Nutrition is a recognized producer of quality supplements, another reason I switched. It also has been one of the most affordable Na-RALA supplements found on Amazon. For all these reasons, I gave their product a 5-star rating.

The capsules are easy to swallow and I appreciate that they're vegan and non-GMO. The 300mg per serving dosage seems standard for this type of supplement. The bottle is well-designed and the product arrived well-packaged. I like that it's NSF certified, which gives me confidence in the quality control. The 2-month supply (60 capsules) is convenient and the price point seems reasonable compared to other R-ALA supplements I've seen. As for effects, it's hard to say definitively with supplements like this, but I've been taking it as part of my daily routine for antioxidant support. No negative side effects so far. Overall, seems like a quality product from a reputable brand. Would recommend if you're looking for an R-ALA supplement.

The best money cabstab buy. I take 1 300mg capsule of stabilized R-ALA (Which is the most effective, absorbed and potent form) daily along with another 600mg of R-ALA in a nerve formula (SciatiEase). I am taking a daily total of 900mg and it has stopped the nerve shocking pain and numbness. It's a miracle! I tried it as a last resort. Before, I couldn't sleep at night because of the shocking sparks in my toes and numbness. I was skeptical but not a believer in this product.

This supplement works very well for me, particularly assisting in my regulatory system. I would definitely reccommend this product.

Great product but what is up with the constant price increases. I paid $30 bucks not even a year ago. Moved on to another brand
