I have been able to use the new attachment head and have been very happy with it. When I was cleaning out my drain a few weeks ago (before I received the new attachment), I found that to remove roots, it was best to use the spatula first and then the spiral saw. The new attachment seems to work as a combination of both tools. While I was only able to remove a small amount of roots from my drain (I had been working for hours before), I still think this new attachment is much better at removing roots. I have attached a short video showing some of the roots I removed with the new attachment. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera on when I first pulled them out, but nonetheless you can see how effective the new attachment head is.

Smaller than expected. I don't know if it would be useful for 4" or 6" pipes. It may work for just punching a hole through the clog in the pipe and going back in with a different tool for a detailed clean.

If you live in a hard water area then do not EVER go with the “if it’s yellow let it mellow” because you end up with a lovely issue called Urine Scale. It’s a pain in the butt to remove and the reason I bought this tool. I wanted to snake the drains but also break up any of the old scale. This works great, easy to use, not expensive and seems to be made very well.

This ball is the same size as a 1/2" snake line. If it's ment for 2-4" lines it should be, at least, 2."

It works wonders, a must-have.
