Best tent peg you can get. at a 45° angle it is not going to shift.
Best tent peg on the market. Would recommend them to anyone who doesn't want their tent to blow down. A little more expensive than others, but so much better value.

MSR tent peg.
These are just what I needed for my tent for year round use. Obviously longer than standard but when the weather is foul and the ground is soggy soft and you just want to get into your tent and out of the wind / torrential rain / snow / sleet etc etc then these do the job. I carry eight of these plus a few alternatives and due to their versatility I am happy to put up with the slight extra bulk and tiny weight increase. I did put on longer cords to make retrieval easier using bight coloured dyneema reflective 2mm cord which also helps to avoid stepping on the pegs / loosing them as they are pretty expensive. Except for the price, I can recommend these pegs.

My durston x-mid 2 solid only works if the 4 corners are fixated in the ground. These pegs are strong, long and very good in quality.

Die Heringe sind super für sandigen Boden. Aber nicht wirklich was für Sand und Schnee, dann lieber Anker. Die Cyclone sind sehr lang und nichts für langes Trekking gedacht.

I LOVE these stakes! They are lighter than I expected (but still not as light as the cheap and garbage plastic stakes) and hold firm in the ground extremely well! I have replaced all the stakes in all my camping gear (which is a lot of gear) with these stakes. Rain, wind, hard dirt, soft dirt, even stiff snow, these stakes work great. Also, super easy to put into the ground with a mallet, back of an axe, or rock. My only complaint is that sometimes the original paracord shears off when pulling them out and the hole the cord goes through is not large enough for a standard size paracord which makes it a HUGE pain to replace it. Overall - Go buy this product now!

Love MSR stakes as a default upgrade. You can’t go wrong. Only upgrade from here is if you are going ultra light backpacking and thru hiking and even these can fill that role initially.
