PVO VF300 Mini Projector

I bought the PVO Mini Projector mainly for cartoons and occasional movie nights, and it works well for that purpose. The size is very compact and portable, which makes it easy to carry or use outdoors. Video mirroring through a data cable works smoothly, and setup is simple. The picture quality is decent for a mini projector, especially in a dark room. Brightness is not very high, so it’s best used at night or indoors with lights off. Sound is okay for kids, but for movies, external speakers improve the experience. Overall, it’s a good value projector for kids, casual viewing, or as a gift—not for a full home theater setup.

This mini projector is surprisingly powerful for its size and so easy to set up. The picture quality is great for cartoons and movie nights, and mirroring via data cable works smoothly. It’s a fun and affordable option for home theater or as a gift for kids.

This little projector was fun for the kids. The overheating feeling is a little nerve-racking, so we only use it for special occasions. Other than that, no negatives for what I needed it to do.

Low rating because I have not yet figured out how to make it work. Am taking it to a Microcenter store tomorrow to get one of the techs there to help me figure out how to make it show pictures from my phone. It is HEAVY on the assumption that most folks want to stream movies. Already had one trip to store to get HDMI adapter cable and that still did not help me make it work. There is no phone# to call, only a website whose answers are more jargon and not helpful, since the problems I was having for photo viewing were not addressed wel. If you are not tech savvy, it is challenging to understand all the set up jargon in the booklet, which assumes you know a lot more than many of us older folks do! I am past the date I can return the device, so am hoping I can get it to work or I wasted $70!

I’m really impressed with this projector. Setup was quick and easy, and the screen mirroring worked perfectly with both my phone and laptop. The picture quality is surprisingly good for such a compact and affordable projector—clear, bright, and more than enough for movie nights at home. I also like the built-in Bluetoothso I can connect my speakers without extra cables.

It started out okay, but Bluetooth is for audio only. To stream video from your phone, it has to be connected by a cable. Because of that inconvenience, I barely used it. Although it was barely used, it already failed. The fan and power lights turn on, but the screen does not. It briefly flickers on startup, then stays black. After researching, this appears to be a common LCD/LED failure that puts the unit at end of life. Extremely disappointing for a product with so little use.

My sons and I used this for our family day in the living room. We used the laptop with it and watched movies, etc and loved it

I’ve wanted a projector forever and I’m so glad I finally got this one. It’s very easy to use and to connect to my phone, and the quality is sharp. The small size makes it really easy to take with me on the go as well. Highly recommend
