Brought a second one
Brought the first one several years ago. It's still going strong. Used to heat the lounge. Central heat for the whole house cost to much during the cold weather, so we just heat the one room which my disabled wife uses as her bedroom. Just need a second one to warm the kitchen before doing food preparation. I have problems with my hands and when it's cold, chopping vegetables, especial, sweed can be difficult, have the cuts to prove it.

Crap
It died and fried on the day the return expired...no fan and burning smells coming out of the fan... My small heater that I have had (bought on here) has lasted far longer and been much more reliable.... I will definitely not be ordering another... What a waste of money...

Excellent heater
So far a very good heater with a powerful fan, a good fan is essential to circulate the heat around a room.

Adapter needed, so added expense.
Would be easier if it came with a UK plug. If your running it on high it needs to be a 16amp fused supply otherwise it blows lesser rated fuses. It's sufficiently supplies enough heat on the lower setting for our needs, kept a small shop warm throughout winter. It is very noisy, it's light weight, the cable isn't long enough in my opinion, but I'd say it's good value for the money.

False advertising
It’s a solid heater but the only thermostat is on/off for overheat protection. The ‘ heat control’ is non existent. It’s either on heat or on fan with no heat. Verified this with a smart meter. It either draws 1kw or close to zero. Do there’s no thermostat function to keep a room at a specific temperature and no temperature control.

Some Like it Hot
Great heater, a welcome addition to my shed.The heater stand requires the simplest of assembly to attach it to the body of the heater.My shed is 14' x 8' and is heated totally by the SIAL.There sre 3 separate settings: cold fan, 1kw & 2kw. ( Even at 1kw the heat is impressive )Once assembled you can adjust the degree of angle that the heater points at.Overall, a very impressive heater.
