Let's get straight to the point... This thing does what it says it does. It arrived today and I made some hot tea in it before running out. Imagine my surprise when my tea was kept so hot that it wasn't even at a comfortable sipping temp for 3 hours! I made it 4 hours ago now and I can still feel the heat through the lid. No other travel mug I've ever tried has been able to do that. Moral of the story.. buy this and make sure your drink is the temp you want it to be before you seal the lid, because it will stay that way for quite awhile lol. Beware tea drinkers though.. the lid will leak some if you close it with teabag strings in it, but without strings is fully leak proof.
