Just opened and started playing with them. Ordered 2 for a project. Functionality seems really good. Both units measure the same down to 0.1" or so. Lots of configurations to measure, and numerous modes for the units of measure. I have not tried the dual laser measurement but could see that being very useful. Rear magnet is strong, and overall feel is good in your hand. One mode that is nice is continuous measure mode where the laser pulses about once per second as it takes a measurement. Good for point and shoot measurements. Also liked the ability to calibrate the measurement as my application needs 2 measurements to start off the same, and ability to calibrate is a good one. Also tried the level/angle finder while mounting some wall brackets and it worked well. Overall way better than expected, seems like a good unit.

I like this version better than the premium aluminum version. This is better because the screen contract can be change to bright. The next had 3 more feature to control...1) brightness/contrast 2) beep sound. 3) calibration menu settings. See my video for a side by side comparison. It's measurement is accurate and can be calibrated, it has lots of functionality, the battery is rechargeable with indicator, and the pricing is great in comparison to others in it's class. Quick measuring that saves time with dual/both sides measurements.

Very pleased with this little guy. It works great. I wish the laser was green for better visibility in the sunlight but I knew it was red when I bought it. It's very accurate and a nice time saver for take measurements for flooring or carpeting. Certainly beats string a tape measure across a 30' room.

Excellent, very accurate. Te extra functions are very usefull. The electronic level helps in irregular walls and floor. The suitcase is very solid and protect well the instrument.

If you've spent even a few minutes searching through the available bilateral laser measuring devices, you'll find the original magpie and then a whole bunch that look remarkably the same. A couple Cigmans look a little different, but they are pretty much the same. A little comparing and you realize that the green laser is more expensive than red. Green is better outside. Then even though they all look similar, some have a max distance of 393ft and some have the longer 656ft. And this is where I went wrong thinking these are the only differences. Some actually have less features. I wanted the realtime continuous measuring. I wanted the bubble level. Yeah they look almost exactly the same, software and all, but not all of them have some features. I bought the green 656ft and figured this out (returned it). I did my research and dug into the specs. I came to conclusion for my diy projects, I don't need measurements over a football field long. And the red laser is fine for the 10 to 50ft measurements outside. When was the last time you maxed out your manual Stanley? That led back to the better value devices where I found this gem. I'm fairly certain this is the next gen interface. It's different then all the others. Besides the green laser long dist one I just returned, I also have several others. This one is fast, easy to use, has all the additionals like continuous and bubble level. It's quick in reading and screen reaction. It just feels like a newer version. And it performs like it. If you're the weekend handman, diy'er this Cigman is the one to get. It is the best bilateral under $100 on the market, period. Price to performance it's a bargain. If it looks a little different from the rest, that's because it is. It's the new & improved model.

Un ottimo misuratore laser: preciso, veloce e con tante funzioni utili come il calcolo di area, volume e misurazioni indirette. Il display è ben visibile anche in condizioni di poca luce, e la memoria da 100 dati è molto comoda. Perfetto sia per uso professionale che per il fai-da-te.

This makes measuring distance so simple. It does take some time to be completely confident with it's readinf though, Just how can it work so fast and accurately? I double checked the measurements with a tape measure a couple of times and then I just accepted that it was giving an accurate reading. Simple to use and I haven't had to recharge it yet
