Bald Eagle Handmade Cigar Humidor, Cedar Cigar Desktop Box with Humidifier and Hygrometer, Glass Top for 25 Cigars (20-25 Cigars)

I have bought three humidors looking for the right one and finally found it! I wish I had gotten this one first. I think most users only need a 20-25 cigar box. But most of the ones with nice features are huge 25-50 cigar boxes, which, IMO are too big. They are a big boxes, and unless you stack your cigars 5-6 rows deep, they look empty. If you do buy that many cigars, you can only see the top row anyway (and only cycle the top rows), so the bottom rows are just "filler" - OR your box looks empty. So a 20-25 row cigar box is just right IMO. The first box I got had a digital hydrometer that failed after 6 months (the box was too big as well), The second box I got was the right size, and had an analog hydrometer showing the optimal humidity range (like this box does) - so you can see if you are "in the green" at a glance. The problem with that box, at only 6 inches tall, it could only hold short cigars. It was about 5mm too short for My Fathers - ugh. This box hits the sweet spot on all counts - (it is perfect!): 1. It is beautiful, and has a glass top (so you don't have to open it to see how many cigars you have). 2. High quality construction with a nice finish and good seal. 3. Analog hydrometer that is a) visible on the outside of the box (you don't have to open it to take a reading), and b) highlights the "safe" zone in green - so you know you are good at a glance (no having to remember what the right range is). 4. The correct length, width, and depth to hold 1 full box (20) of full size cigars, but not so big it looks empty all the time. As an added bonus, the packaging it arrived in was also super high quality and looked really nice (like an Apple product). It makes for a superior unboxing experience, so I would also highly recommend this as a gift. Well done on all counts!

REVIEW UPDATE!! Bald Eagle reached out immediately regarding my dissatisfaction, a refund was given and a new humidor. We now realize that our first order, we were sent a faulty unit, it was immediately obvious that this new unit had a very tight seal and closed tighter than the first unit that was sent. It is working perfectly, and the hygrometer is working perfect, something that is rare on a humidor. We purchased a digital hygrometer so we could compare the unit's hygrometer with the digital and Wow!! the unit's hygrometer is less than 1% different from the digital, I am really impressed. Our initial order resulted in a faulty unit, which lead to my review, but Bald Eagle fixed everything immediately!!! and now, well we will be buying again, not only is it a BEAUTIFUL unit, but it works great. A bad unit slipped through, but they fixed it so fast.... Thank you!! The craftsmanship is stunning and that was why we were drawn to the product! The hygrometer did not work in this unit, we purchased a digital to be sure. Completely faulty. The seal of this unit was not tight at all, the lid closed but you could see the gap, and therefore leaked, no matter what we tried the humidity never reached above 50%, proper seasoning, the unit's hygrometer, a reputable digital hygrometer, added the Boveda packs to give it a boost, and absolutely nothing. Then to add to our already disappointment, I requested a return with a refund, what's the point in getting a second unit, well guess what a second unit showed up. We are using our cheap humidor and it is working far better than this unit even came close too. Truly a disappointment.

Works well for the money and it looks really nice. The seasoning took me around a week. I started with 5 full droplets and that seem to be too much. I aired a few times until it was around 70%. Now I refill with 3-4 droplets every 7-10 days to maintained humidity between 65-70%. A more precise level may be too hard with this product as it takes a while for the hydrometer to show new humidity level.

Nice looking box, but that's about it. Humidity drops overnight. Hygrometer does not work, it only moves 2% and is always in the green, even when the box wasn't. I put one of my home Hygrometers inside and it showed the correct humidity. I've seasoned the box 3 times with distilled water. Filled the plastic container which leaks if filled over half way. Overnight the humidity drops 15%-20%. Should have gone with a better unit, but it's the size I was looking for. My loss I guess... I'll keep trying to get it working. I wouldn't recommend this one. EDIT 1/7/25: After replacing the included humidifier with a small dish of water and adding humidor solution, it seems to he holding steady ay 70%. The hygrometer miraculously started to work. Little bit of effort to get this all working, but I kept it and it seems to be functioning well. Changing to 4 stars as it is still a very nice unit even after putting in a little research and effort.

Muy buen acabado, buenos materiales y es verdaderamente bonito y elegante... estoy en la etapa de "curado" pero no creó tener problema. Quizá solo pediría instructivo mas detallado para por ejemplo saber cuanta agua, cada cuánto de agua y cosas así. De ahí en fuera muy contento con mi producto, sin duda lo compraría nuevamente como un regalo especial

Me he llevado una grata sorpresa con el producto, es de muy buena calidad, un bonito acabado, ni se diga del envío por parte de Amazon, siempre son de lo mejor.

It is a nice box. I know nothing of humidors for this currently wont be used for cigars. but as i understand it is the interior needs time to to absorb enough moisture so that the humidor can maintain a steady relative humidity. I can already tell the gauge was not accurate for it was stuck as i gave it different locations to get a reading and it didn't budge you may need a digital one to find the correct reading then take out the dial on the humidor where you find the center dial screw to recalibrate.

Looks great, however after three weeks seasoning with a full humidifier and dish of distilled water, humidity would not rise above 73%. Hoping that would be close enough to the right range, loaded the humidor and predictably saw a crash from 73% to 67%. Not too alarming, and tossed in a couple of 69% Boveda packs just to shore things up, closed it up tight and hoped for the best. 12 hours later and the meter is now reading 61% and still falling. Hoping that stabilizes, and will update if so Edit again - Wow. Bald Eagle reached out as soon as they saw the issue I was having and that they had missed my first email, walked me through bug testing to find the problem, isolated it to probably a faulty hydrometer (makes perfect sense as the meter has consistently read 56-59% ever since - so about 10% lower than the Boveda packs in there would suggest), and promised to get a calibrated meter to me right away. Shortly after, a larger-than-expected package arrived, containing a whole new humidor, with a new meter on the way as well. Once I connected with their customer care person, dealing with Bald Eagle has been an absolute joy - prompt, helpful, endlessly accommodating, responsive, and clearly they take the customer service side of the business and getting it right very seriously. Great company with amazing service, particularly as what we're talking about is a $50 wood box. Will be back for my next humidor (sadly I didn't listen to the adage "Nobody ever wished they bought a smaller humidor") without a single hesitation.
