Excellent high protections case appears made of high quality materials. Doesn’t slip out of my hand. Fit is true to my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Also has a cut out which also helps with handling the phone. Best Otter Box case I’ve ever bought. In fact I think it is the best case I’ve ever owned!!!

This is another great case from OtterBox. I have had a number of OtterBox cases over the years and this one seems just as good and probably the most protective. It’s a great fit for the phone but a little bulkier than my previous OtterBox Commuter case which I loved. In the end I returned this case as I found a case in a nicer colour to match my new teal coloured phone but that’s not a reflection on the quality of the case - just my personal taste in colour. I would buy OtterBox cases for future phones.

Ok so it makes your lovely slim phone a fair bit thicker, but unless you have tiny hands it shouldn’t be a problem. This case looks and feels like it will take a beating and still protect your phone. Let’s face it that’s what it’s for. You have spent a good bit north of a grand for a tiny computer that you toss around and fiddle with everywhere you go, all day long. Making it a few millimetres bigger is a lot less inconvenient than the nightmare of spending usually well over £100 sending it away for repair and transferring everything over. It looks really good too! The protective bumper around it is a nice grippy material too, which in itself is going to reduce the frequency of it slipping out of your hand or sliding off a surface. The clear back panel is protective but still shows off the colour of phone you choose. As does the colour choice of the bumper. Easily worth the cost to protect an £1100, £1300 or £1500 phone. I despair when i see people with a farty little thin case on an expensive phone. Otterbox also do a case that is waterproof with a built in screen that completely encapsulates the phone. That one might be a bit of overkill for my wife, but for protection in certain job environments or extreme sports enthusiasts, it would be ideal.

I have been a loyal OtterBox customer for years, but this case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max is by far the most disappointing and frankly, unusable case I have ever purchased from the brand. For a £50 premium product, the quality is shocking. The case suffers from a critical design flaw around the dedicated camera control button. It is hypersensitive—simply putting my phone in or taking it out of my pocket caused it to take 78 unwanted photos in one instance! I returned the first case hoping it was a fluke, but the replacement had the exact same sensitivity issue. This is an unacceptable level of accidental activation that ruins the phone's usability. Beyond the button, the case feels cheaply made and has a terrible fit. The top and bottom edges are loose and easily peel away from the screen when in a pocket—a complete failure of a "protective" case. The grip material is also harder, less slip-resistant, and less comfortable than every previous OtterBox I've owned. VERDICT: This case does not meet the expected standards of a premium brand. It feels low-quality, the button is catastrophically flawed, and it doesn't fit securely. Do not buy this case. If this is the future of OtterBox quality, it will be my last purchase from them.

One of the best covers I’ve had, rugged without being too chunky with a good grip around the edges, nice looking when installed on the phone and buying pre-owned off Amazon was actually new and 1/2 the price

Stylish and durable, I have not seen a more durable and effective protector like Otterbox products. Bought for me and my partner. Our phones falls multiple times a day from our child’s handling, yet we are never afraid cos it’s otterbox, it’s solid!

Excellent quality mobile phone case. It’s not pretty or fashionable but it works like it should. It protects your phone. I’ve had multiple Defender cases over the years and no phone has been damaged. Unfortunately the cheaper options just aren’t up to the job.

I have been using various otterbox product for nearly 15 years. I wont purchase any other case, they make an excellent product and stand behind it with a great warranty. Highly Recommend

The item isn't for iphone 16, but for a iphone 16 pro. They replaced the sticker on the box with iphone 16, but the camera cut out part is for the pto model and doesn't fit the iphone 16.
