One of the best lights i have! Great flexibility, mountable anywhere, the battery life on high power is good (not perfect). Otherwise it is a great light, the app is very helpful.

great little light with plenty of power. I pair this up with their spotlight attachment for some extra creativity to my shots. build quality is amazing, and plenty of attachments to make this light do whatever you want. I have become a huge fan of small rig and love their gear. I had the power go out at a wedding and used this to light dance floor and kept the party going. would definitely recommend.

It's. A convenient studio light. The small size and V mount option gives it a lot of flexibility for shooting outside. I must comment on the lack of Bowens adapter in the package, it's not convenient that you have to buy it separately as many other brands do include it always.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This light is so useful and portable. The light flow is even and beautiful. I have used it to make YouTube videos. I attached Bowen’s mount soft box for diffused light. Can’t say enough good things about this one!

I was just at CES in Vegas, doing sitdown interviews as well as interviewing while we walked around on the floor. I brought this as my key light with soft box in addition to two other inflatables which are fantastic, but this one is very compact. I like that I can use a mount battery on it. Great output.

AVOID - CANNOT USE POWER ADAPTER INDOORS! I considered trying SmallRig after using Nanlight and Aperture for years. I like the portability of this light and the power with V Mount batteries is more than sufficient for portable lighting on street or remote locations and liked the price. However I (like many professionals) want the option of using this in a studio, without batteries, plugged in. I’ve reached out asking about a power adapter since it does not come with one, they explained they no longer make one but actually recommended by Smallrig’s store account that I buy from a third party seller on ebay, power adapter model number 4853 which I did. What they did not tell me is that the power only goes to 20% brightness with this adapter which is very dim and pointless!! After purchasing this adapter I sent them a message and they have still kept me waiting on a response and now it’s too late to return this light. I will not be using Smallrig in my studio. The other con is the mount is a “mini bowens”, which allows you to use 2 very specific modifiers and even though they sell an adapter, the adapter or the reflector for this light has no slot for an umbrella SMH lol. Neewer makes an adapter that states it’s compatible with an umbrella slot but just goes to show this light is cheap for a reason and doesn’t provide much value for studio use. Avoid for professional work.

This is a great little light. I use it for portable shoots for my YouTube channel, for portrait head shots, and interviews. I suggest getting the modifier to soften the light. But this is a gem of a light. The only issue is with this model you get a handle instead the traditional up and down pointing mount. The battery seems like it last forever. I don't I have ever killed my SmallRig vmount battery while at location. Must have for a small set one person maybe two.

We used this light for a nighttime parade, the color balance and brightness was better than anything we’ve used in the past. The V mount let us use our 100 small rig battery. 60 minutes of continuous use and only drained the battery 50%

It is one of the cheapest 100 watt Lamps on the market I bought it for run and gun interview situation, where I don’t have much time to set up , but still want to have a good , nicely light outcome. The build quality convinced me directly , the light is quit , light , easy to set up and handle and perfect for journalism where you don’t have much time to set a lot of lights up In combination which a soft box it is perfect and hundred percent worth the money
