I tried a few cases before settling on this one for my iPhone 17 Pro. The Spigen Ultra Hybrid T MagFit Case fits well, and the buttons feel good - they're easy to press and have good tactile feedback. The grip feels good - not too grippy like silicone cases, but more grippy than the caseless phone on its own. A unique advantage of this case, compared to many other cases I've tried (such as Apple's clear case), is that you can fit a physical credit card / travel card behind the phone (inside the case) and it still fits fine with buttons all working properly. This is useful to me as a Londoner as I keep my Oyster card in my phone case so that it's always with me. It is worth nothing the case covering the camera plateua isn't for everyone; personally I'd prefer to keep that area open to allow for better thermal performance and heat dissipation, but other than that the case is great.

The Spigen Ultra Hybrid T MagFit case for the iPhone 17 Pro is decent overall but not perfect. The fit is precise, the MagFit alignment works well with chargers and accessories, and the buttons click cleanly. The case offers solid protection without adding much bulk, and the clear back shows off the phone properly. The main drawback is the grip. The sides are smoother than expected, making the case feel a bit slippery during normal use. It’s fine on a desk or in a pocket, but in the hand it could use better texture or contouring. Otherwise, build quality is good and it does the job, just with less grip than ideal.

There are some bad cases out there, and this isn't one of them. Sturdy, grippy, and with a tight fit, this is a fantastic case. The camera control button is most welcome after suffering a year with a cheap cutout. Looks very sleek on the Black 16 Pro. Highly recommended!

I’m so disappointed, I used the same case for my iPhone 16 pro max last year, it was brilliant, I had a translucent black one. Thought it made sense to get the same case again for my 17 Pro max, and while this case looks the part, it’s great to look at, the buttons for the volume and power are horrendous. They aren’t cut outs like last year with a satisfying click, they are pieces of the plastic under an embossed part of the case side. They feel so mushy, there isn’t a great deal to differentiate the case side from the buttons either. The camera control button is also subpar this time around, I’d say only recognises swipes around 1 in 5 attempts, although pressing it is relatively decent. The case itself does feel pretty sturdy, I was looking for a case that covered up the plateau as I’m convinced it will be scratched to hell in the absence of glass, and this does fit the bill in that way. The case is a nice thickness that should protect from drops and bumps and the ridge between the screen and the sides should reduce scratches when placed face down. I really want to like this case, it’s a great size, easy to fit, and has good, strong MagSafe magnets, BUT I just can’t get over the buttons, they are so much worse than last years :( If you aren’t as particular as me when it comes to button feel on your case, this looks to be a great choice, but for me, the buttons feel so mushy and cheap that I’m considering returning it.
