It works

This is a good, sturdy piece of kit with easy to understand instructions. Very good value for the money. It comes complete with bits and bit-stops, so all you need is a good drill. I screwed mine to a piece of 3/4 inch ply (about A3 size) for stability. I never got past having to tidy up the screw holes with a Stanley knife and sandpaper, but they cleaned up well. I made a whole series of bookcases and am very pleased with them. Sturdy joints, and with careful placement no screw holes visible.

This dowel jig kit is well built out of solid aluminium and comes in a handy case. It does its job well and I like the side wings, that help steady larger pieces of wood. Compared with the cost of more expensive dowel jigs, I found it good value for the money.

Product delivered in quick time, presented in a good carry case, all items well made and easily assembled,however the drill it did not leave a nice clean hole,(a wood burr was left on one side of the pocket had to trim off to leave pocket neat) Several holes were drilled with the same results. I will purchase another drill bit, hopefully to achieve a good result.
