I purchased the lights on Amazon and we were excited to receive the lights. My husband installed them and they worked great for the first 20 minutes and then when we hooked them up to the phone something went haywire and they stopped working other than the first 5 lights on the strand next to the control box. I called Amazon and then quickly replaced them free of charge. I just had until February to return the ones we had already installed. My husband was less than thrilled that he had to take down the lights that he had just installed to then reinstall another set. The new set arrived quickly and he instantly installed them and we were able to use them the rest of December and now we are using them in the red setting for Valentines. We love the lights. I have not hooked this set up to the phone in fear it will make them go haywire again. I just use the remote. We are contemplating ordering another set so that we can overlay them and have more lights closer together. Love the look and the display as they are but would like more lights on the strand. All in all we love them and would recommend them to anyone.

Do not buy from this company! They do not respond to email complaints. We bought 2 strands of 100' lights. We didn't have them a month & one of the strands quit working. My husband has sent "7" emails...no response!! All we wanted was a response & for the company to replace the strand that quit. It's possible we just got a bad strand, but as a company RESPOND to your customer!!! We actually like the lights, easy to hang, obviously received a bad strand. We shouldn't have to pay to replace THEIR product that we bought in good faith to last longer than a month. VERY UPSET & DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

I decided to try these 100 ft eaves lights instead of Govee because they were more affordable and offered similar features—and I’m very pleased! The lights are incredibly bright and look simple to install, so I’m excited to set them up for the holidays. Since I love having different lights for each holiday, the fact that these can stay up all year is a huge plus. I’m just hoping they hold up well in different weather conditions, but only time will tell. I like that they can be controlled with both a remote and an app, making them very convenient. However, I do wish the app allowed more customization for the light scenes instead of being limited to the preset options; it would be nice to design unique scenes for each occasion. One thing I noticed when I opened the package was a strong chemical smell, but thankfully, it faded quickly. They come with 3M tape for easy sticking, and they seem to be high quality overall. If they stand the test of time, they’ll definitely be worth it! Great purchase so far!

Lights are very nice and easily programmed with the app HOWEVER, after 3 years, the plug and controller didn’t work and the company says you can’t but a replacement. Only option is to buy a new set of lights and swap the plugs and controller that came with the new set. Now I have a brand new set of lights that can’t be used because I had to kidnap the cords and controller for the old ones that failed. Reset did not rectify. Be prepared to replace these lights every few years even though they are advertised as permanent, UPDATE: I set the lights to do a red/green fade for Christmas and several of the lights are not lighting up, making for a fractured display. These lights do NOT last.

I love these bright and colorful lights. I especially like the design that allows them to be installed in a permanent way so next year I can just turn them on for the holidays. The white light option allows me to use them year round for security. I am going to use these around the back of my house to light up the back yard and this is going to be a really fun way to do that with the music lightshow option. I also like the ability to control the lights with an app, if I ever lose the included remote I will still be able to control the lights. I do wish the lights were individually addressable but that certainly isn't a deal killer. Once I have these lights installed I will try to remember to share some pictures of that too, for now all I have is pictures of testing them out after they arrived. I have too many colors to post a picture of each but I've included a couple just to give an idea of what the lights and remote look like.

Not the best permanent outdoor lights you can choose from, the price makes you think you want to try it but when you receive the actual product and find out that it only has one screw hole per light- which don’t work well at all, the sticky pad don’t even stick long enough for you to get the screw in to hold the light. You only can choose one solid color at a time and have no individual control of each light, which is a bummer cause that makes for a very basic option of the lights with no special features to these lights. The App is really poorly put together and works only when your close to the lights and the timer will delete every single time if you close the app on your phone and even if you don’t close the app on your phone, after 4 days it clears your timer you set up for the lights anyways- so the app is definitely a HUGE letdown and not really well put together at all. You know that app is poorly put together when the Remote can do more for you than the app ever will. At the end of the day you definitely get what you pay for and I’d have to 100% honest opinion say these are bottom of the barrel permanent outdoor lights on the market right now and it’s very disappointing that these lights can’t be more affordable and actually still put together properly along with a good app that gives many many options on each individual light!! UPDATE - Not Even Two Months After Spending All That Time Putting Them Up And I Have One Section Of My Lights Completely Out Already 🤬
