Vanicream Aluminum-Free Gel Deodorant - 2 oz - Unscented Formula for Sensitive Skin

All of a sudden about two years ago I started turning up allergic to every anti-perspirant I tried, starting with the one I'd used for years without issue. I finally landed on Lume' for the deodorant and that actually worked best for me, but could not use their anti-perspirant products, just their deodorant, and constantly had wet pits that would still start smelling towards the end of the day. After speaking to a dermatologist, she recommended this Vanicream Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for Sensitive Skin. I checked several stores before finding it on Amazon. The first time I used it, it did burn a little and cause a small rash. I think my skin was still agitated from the last shave. It was a little dry/rough going on the first time, but now that first layer is off the product, it does go on smoothly without pulling at the skin. It's been almost a week, and I've had dry underarms no matter what I'm wearing since after the first application (which was in the morning). Use it at night after washing, and it works perfect! I did also change my shave cream to something more high quality, started moisturizing the skin there, and changed my razor to a brand new one geared toward sensitive skin and all that together seems to have solved my two year problem. No breakthrough sweat, no breakthrough smell. I feel like a normal person again and can stop avoiding other people for fear my deodorant has stopped working. So far, no rash, no burning, no itching either. I think... hopefully... this is finally the product that's going to work long term for me. I'm so glad the dermatologist recommended it!

I picked up the Vanicream Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for Sensitive Skin because I’m pretty picky about what I put on my skin, especially around my underarms. This one has been a great find. The first thing I noticed is how gentle it feels. It doesn’t burn or irritate, even after shaving, which is something a lot of other deodorants fail at. If you have sensitive skin, this is a huge win. It doesn’t leave a heavy or sticky residue, and it goes on smooth without leaving white marks — which always matters when I’m throwing on a shirt in the morning. In terms of performance, it really does keep me fresh throughout the day. I’ve worn it on warmer days and through workouts, and it holds up well without needing halfway touch-ups. It’s not super overpowering scent-wise — more subtle and clean than loud — which I like. It’s exactly what I’m looking for in an everyday deodorant. If I were to note one small thing, it’s that the scent is very mild. But that’s honestly a plus for me because I don’t like overwhelming fragrances. Overall, this has become my go-to sensitive skin deodorant. It’s effective, gentle, and comfortable to wear all day. I’d definitely buy it again.

I really appreciate that it's unscented and designed for sensitive skin, as many deodorants can irritate my skin, but this one didn't cause any discomfort or breakouts. It's also great for people with fragrance sensitivities. The clinical-strength formula offers 24-hour protection, and while it does keep me dry for a decent amount of time, I didn’t feel like it was as strong as some other brands I've tried. It works, but I did find myself needing to reapply after a long, active day, especially in hotter weather. If you have sensitive skin and need a gentle, effective anti-perspirant, it’s worth trying. But for someone like me who needs a bit more sweat control or long-lasting protection, it may not be quite as effective as some others.

Excellent antiperspirant deodorant that is polyethylene glycol (peg) free & gluten free for those with celiac or allergies. Have not experienced any itchy rashes & it works very well! Very happy with this product.

I have never used an entire tube of deodorant in my life UNTIL this one! 🩷 I have had eczema for as long as I can remember and tried almost everything on the market. Especially the more natural stuff and I’ve even tried making my own. My skin is extremely sensitive and my eczema will break out immediately with every deodorants or antiperspirants. Burning and stinging. This antiperspirant has seriously been a life saver. Fantastic odor and sweat control! Hasn’t irritated my skin AT ALL. PLEASE don’t ever discontinue this! Price seems fair compared to a lot of deodorant on the market these days. My only issue is I wish I could just go to the store and pick one up. Can’t really find it anywhere except Amazon.

I have contact dermatitis that flares up whenever and wherever and recently I have been getting bad rashes under my arm. I would use the ordinary toner as a deodorant but after getting this rash I wasn’t able to so I switched back to clinical strength deodorant because the heat in NY recently is bad. I used degree and secret clinical strength and the burning of it was horrible. Did some research and chat gpt recommended this to me which I was skeptical at first because it has no scent but it works so well. Since using it my rash is slowly going away, it does in fact help with odor and does not burn going on at all. Would definitely be getting the rest of my life, please never stop carrying this!!! The only con I can think of is at the end of the day when trying to bathe it leaves a weird film under my arm which is hard to take off with regular rag and soap. I need to use facial product and a silicone face scrub to scrub the day’s deodorant off to then reapply a fresh new coat before bed.

Ordered two of these deodorants. Overall I think the deodorant itself was good. Doesn’t cause skin irritation and does a good job with preventing smells and sweating. However, just a warning to purchasers to double check it hasn’t already been opened and used. 1 out of the 2 was previously opened missing the safety seal and very obviously had been used at least once.

I was reacting to all the deodorants I tried finally this one was recommended to me and it's wonderful. No reaction at all and feels so smooth and cool. Highly recommended

It is as described. I was looking for a deodorant that was also an antiperspirant, non-perfumed and a cream. It meets all my expectations. Thank you.
