I’m really impressed with this Venus Fly Trap terrarium! The built in grow light and fan help create the perfect environment for my carnivorous plants, and the timer feature makes it super convenient. I also love that it has a drainage hole, which helps prevent overwatering.The design is sleek and modern, making it a nice decorative piece for my home. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t come with plants, so you’ll need to get those separately. Overall, a great product for plant lovers!

I'd like to say that my daughter didn't kill the plant she put in this fun little contraption, but let's be so real. Of course she did. It had nothing to do with the planter, though. It was perfectly fine. Cute, even. Worked exactly as it was supposed to. The one thing it did NOT do, however, was sprout legs and walk down the hall to the water fountain. So if your college student is in the market for a legless terrarium, THIS is your ticket. And if you happen to come across a model with legs (opposable thumbs are also a plus), please consider sending it my way.

Pros: easy to set up, good lighting that can be dimmed. Good for small succulents, air plants, miniature orchids, cactus. Also good for seed starter for one plant that will be transplanted after leafing out. Have a small 2 inch orchid in it (purchased from Amazon). Hopefully it will be blooming soon.Cons: any movement of USB cord seems to break the power connection. Wanted to use with miniature violets, but violet leaves on 2 inch pot are too horizontal and roll up when they are squeezed by the top. Probably any small plant with horizontal growth would not work in this little terrarium, so plant choice is limited.

This perfectly fits a small succulent. Size is small, about the size of a butternut squash. Easy to assemble and use. Sleek design meshes well with our home esthetic. We keep this in my daughter’s room; it’s low maintenance and a great opportunity to talk about the science behind plant growth.

The media could not be loaded. Got excited to use this to keep my Lithops safe on my desk. I love the idea of the dome with built in light. Sleek design, easy to assemble, and was super quiet day one. Day two, however, the fan makes a horrible grinding noise when it starts up and buzzes loudly after. Video I posted doesn’t catch that initial grinding but the buzzing is loud. I have to unplug and plug it in to get it to stop. Also - the micro usb port is super touchy. Since first turning it on, it has to be angled just right to be powered.

I bought this to have a little extra plant life on my desk for my home office. Its amazing! Great deal for the money and a easy setup. I can't wait till everything is in full growth.
