Grout Pen Brown Tile Paint Marker: Waterproof Grout Paint, Tile Grout Colorant and Sealer Pen - Brown, Narrow 5mm Tip (7mL)

I used 2 different pen colors to achieve a perfect beige, the one that’s light beige and this brown one (since the brown is chocolate-y brown and the beige is much lighter than a standard beige irl) because my shower tiles are slat wood styled and my grout didn’t turn out to be as beige as i wanted. For neat application i used a slim eyebrow makeup brush (some 2 dollar walmart one that i didn’t really care if it got bad after using it for this project) and i also used painter’s tape to line up the lines straight and to avoid a messy outcome. Apparently you can use rubbing alcohol to remove it and you can seal the grout pen’s pigment using grout sealant afterwards (once the grout pen has fully dried). In the pictures it looks a bit grayish but in real life it’s a perfect match for our tiles and suuuper close to the tile’s color. Good buy, i’m surprised it gave the grout a good look and the coverage is great! It’s very liquidy when it’s wet from the pen (but not hard to work with tho!) and it dries matte, just how i liked it.

These are easy to apply and dry quickly. The color is a true brown. Really makes the grout look fresh and new. Very good value for the price.

We used this in our kitchen as the grout ended up being too light when we put down new tiles. The pens are easy to use. Just follow the directions. One thing I STRONGLY suggest is getting extra nibs/tips if you’re doing a lot. Grout really tears up the tips and made it pretty difficult by the end of each pen. Good grout pen . The ink lasts !

I bought the Large Brown Grout Pen. I was very pleased. It came promptly and there wasn't any leakage. I have large grout at my entry way and this size of pen work good. The brown has a reddish under tones which work great for me. I cleaned and wiped dry the tile and grout. I started in the far corner and worked my way backwards toward my hall. I wiped the marker left to right and then quickly went right to left to coat all the grout. I used my bare finger ( gloves were too awkward) to push the color in the grout, especially in the corners. I used dry paper towels to quickly wipe excess off the tiles. I used the damp cloth right after that. You have a few minutes to wipe up excess - not long. I waited about 24 hours to put a sealer over the tiles and grout. it's been over 48 hours and I Love the color and the improved grout. Clean up was easy. I threw the damp cloth away. I only washed my hands one time thoroughly and my hands came clean. I plan and getting the Dark Grey to do my bathroom. I would buy this product again. If I have any problems, I'll try and update. Update 6/23/2019 I'm very pleased in the way the grout looks today. I don't think it's faded or changed colors. I recommend this product and would buy it again.

1st REVIEW: I’ve been trying for a year without success to clean the grout in my kitchen, dining room, and two bathrooms. It’s supposed to be light brown, but there is some unknown substance all over it that just won’t come clean. No matter what I used, the grout would look the same within hours. I bought three of these pens to experiment in the bathrooms first. I just spent over an hour doing one bathroom and am very disappointed that it took all three pens! They are easy to use but not very durable. I was not using them roughly, but the tip on the first pen started to come apart after just a few minutes. It was a very frustrating process since the pens really don’t last long at all. I’m not thrilled with the results, but I think it’s better than what I started with. I’m anxious to see if the color stays. I wish I could get a refund, but instead I will have to order more because I don’t know anything else to try, and of course, I can’t find them anywhere locally. UPDATE: I did purchase four more pens and again used all four in the SMALLER 2nd bathroom! The pens are not very long lasting at all. They're like a bag of potato chips -- seems only half full. I was afraid I would run out before I finished. I think the grout looks better than it did, but I am not happy that the pens don't last a lot longer for the price I paid.

Worth the money for sure! We bought regular pen and a wide pen for the large tile. Both work great but know that the wide one is really wide. A damp cloth easily wipes off any residue on tiles and the pen ink sinks into the grout. Recommend you save money and buy the 2 pen pack because you’ll probably need both for a shower.

Don't do it! I wish I had heeded the negative reviews. I ordered a wide tip and a narrow tip. The narrow tip nib only lasted 3 feet before it was too smashed to to use. The wide tip nib began falling out after about 15 feet of painting. While it's easily put back in place, the pen is now leaking paint from around the nib, leaving drips down my tiles and paint everywhere but the grout. Now I have to decide if I want to buy several more of these garbage pens to finish my shower or attempt to scrub the paint off the grout I've already painted.
