This battery works flawlessly with a long use time, it's as simple as unscrewing the battery compartment in your GBA SP, removing the 20+ year old battery and dropping in the new one. Great product and price point :) I would recommend not using your original Gameboy Advance SP battery if you intend on modding it with a brighter screen, as of course it'll die quicker.

Great product, fast delivery, highly recommended

Fitted this new battery to my modded GBA SP (ips screen with brightness control). Previously I had bought a new battery from a different manufacturer and it couldn't output enough to sustain the handheld, however it also had issues working on an unmodified one. This battery hasn't had any issues like that. The console lasts a good time while on battery and there doesn't appear to be any power bleed while the handheld sits powered off. I would highly recommend.

This battery is nearly double the capacity of the original so is going to be great for breathing life back into a great hand held. The battery even comes with a tiny screwdriver to make it easy to swap out your old rundown battery. Recommend 5 stars

My old Game Boy stopped showing any signs of life, even if I would connect it to the charger. I knew definitely it's an issue with the battery, because when I checked the battery itself it was a bit swollen, it was even barely fitting its own place. Therefore when I saw this battery replacement, I decided to give it a try. The original battery had the capacity of 600mAh, while the new battery comes with a whopping 1000mAh, which means more gaming time. Replacement is very straightforward, just like the old days, almost same as replacing the alkaline batteries. Immediately after replacement I tested the battery and I was very happy to see the console greeting me with the Game Boy logo.

Durch den dazugelieferten Schraubenschlüssel war es sehr einfach die Abdeckung zu entfernen und den Akku zu wechseln. Seit dem Wechsel kann ich jetzt wieder problemlos einen ganzen Monat Gameboy spielen, ohne aufladen zu müssen.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Der Akku passt wie der Original Akku. Das Laden des Akkus Funktioniert sehr gut.

Ich war froh, dass ich diesen Akku für mein „alten“ Gameboy gefunden habe. Wie gesagt, gesucht, gefunden und bestellt. Die Lieferung war zügig, den Akku mit den mitgelieferten Schraubendreher ersetzt und nach einer Ladung war der Gameboy einsatzbereit. Danke
