AC Vent Exhaust Hose Adapter Plate for DIY Window and Sliding Doors compatible with Midea Duo

We have horizontally sliding windows, and the adapter that comes with a Midea Duo is absolutely terrible — falls out of the window, has large gaps, minimal amount of sticky insulation, etc. — so upon searching came across this adapter I used a piece of 1/2” plywood, followed instructions, and sealed around the plywood edges with automotive weather seal This adapter is solidly built, fits the exhaust tube well, is quite light, comes with good hardware, and looks classier because the resulting plywood insert is a single piece None of this could be said for the OEM window adapter It’s a bit spendy, but still 5-stars because it’s just going to work forever Coincidentally we’re noticing this fall that the heat is running probably 1/4 of the time due to better weather seal … Enjoy!
