I was very shocked from what i thought was not going to be a great steak but i was so glad to be proven wrong no gristle cooked brilliantly, would definitely buy it again and hope its of the same quality.

Delicious amazingly yummy steak!
I’m in love with this steak, it’s huge and easily feeds two (could portion for three if you wanted). It slices beautifully and is juicy and really beefy. I love it, and cook it as soon as it arrives because I can’t resist it 😂 can’t wait for my next order!

Family loves this for dinner
I was sad to see the low reviews about this product. I order this every month and my family loves it when we have it for dinner. I marinate this cut in a mix of honey, soy, Worcestershire sauce, garlic,... I marinate it for 12 to 24 hrs. As soon as it arrives. The flank is a cheaper cut of meat but with a little attention it's often better than a soft filet. Ligates has a quality product and it's hard to find flank steak locally. Look up a flank steak marinade and as soon as the meat arrives stick it in a bag of tenderizing flavor over night.

Bad packaging, shelf life overestimated
I have ordered Lidgate's Flank Steak quite a few times now. The first couple orders were brilliant, and the meat was really delicious. However, the last few times I received the flank steak, it made me quite upset due to the quality of meat I received.At first I was giving it a benefit of the doubt, when the meat arrive with brown patches which is normal when meat is exposed to oxygen - it can start changing colour. However the last order arrived quite brown with a sour smell. I cannot even describe how bad the smell is - I had no other choice but to chuck the meat away. The meat was due to expire the next day, but it already looked and smelled spoiled.I strongly doubt that the packaging it comes in is sufficient to remain the meat fresh for 3-4 days as it's stated on a label. It's a real shame as I really liked the meat when it arrived in a good condition. But I can't keep ordering this item thinking that maybe I will need to bin it.
