Unrefined shea butter is one of my favorite body and cosmetic products. I have purchased it from several different brands, and find YECUCE's product to be high quality and free of additives as advertised. The mini spoon/scoop is a clever addition, though it won't prevent germ transfer unless washed between uses. It might help me train my kids not to dip their fingers into product jars! Each winter I dread the chapping effects of the dry indoor air and bitterly cold wind on my family's skin, and shea butter is a primary defense to keep our skin moisturized and healthy. I also use it regularly on my feet to soften calluses and maintain my nail health. Because it can be greasy, I find it easiest to apply a layer at night and wear socks to bed. I recommend YECUCE's unrefined shea butter for anyone struggling with dry skin or skin that needs a boost of healthy vitamins.

Bad smell. Goes on nice, but can't stand the odor of it.

I really like the smooth texture of this quality Shea Butter. When applied, this Shea Butter is silky smooth on my skin. It has a thicker texture than petroleum jelly and is not as greasy. Any greasiness diminishes fairly quickly, especially is you apply a little lotion over it. This Shea Butter is very moisturizing. After applying it on my arms, I washed my hands and found that my hands and nails still felt moisturized with a thin layer of protection afterwards. The manufacturing date on the product I received is 8/30/24, and the expiration date is 8/29/2027. The country listed on the packaging is Ireland. The description page states that the country of origin is China. The box and jar display the brand name Yecuce which is a well known Chinese company that manufactures the Hair Vitamins that I like so much, as well as Turmeric and Kojic Acid cleansing pads that I have. I have purchased other skincare and hair products made by the Yecuce brand and have been happy with the good quality.

This shea butter is helping fight our dry skin this winter. My kid’s hands get very red and dry from the school’s hand soap. We’ve been putting this on at bedtime and by morning her hands have calmed down (until she washes her hands at school again). It doesn’t have a strong smell, just the mild scent of natural shea butter. I also like that it came with a little spatula/scoop so you can use that instead of your fingers to get some out.
