Perfect for cats!
If you live in an area with a lot of stray cats, this Portable Ultrasound machine is perfect, and can save you a lot of time and money, not taking a pregnant cat to get fixed, only to find out they're pregnant, and they can't have the surgery done. The screen is bright, good quality, and easy to see. There are multiple buttons, that allow you to zoom in on a specific area, so if the animal is larger, you can zoom in, to get a better view. There are multiple ports on the side, and you can actually connect the portable machine to a screen, so you can have a larger view. Overall feels well made, and even comes in a nice storage bag, to keep it dust free/protect it. **The battery is a tight fit, if you can't snap it in, make sure to run your finger on the inside of the battery compartment, and make sure there aren't any loose plastic bits from the manufacturing process.

Great for out in the field
I recently had the chance to test the the DVK10 Portable Ultrasound Machine in a small clinic / field-use scenario. Overall, it performs admirably for its size and price point, though it isn’t without its compromises. --- ✅ What I Liked 1. Portability & Design The DVK10 is compact and light. It’s easy to carry from room to room or out into the field. The build feels solid for a portable device, and in my use it withstood the occasional bump or repositioning without issue. 2. Ease of Setup & Use I was able to power it up and begin scanning within minutes. The UI is intuitive, and the probe pairing / calibration process is relatively smooth. For users who aren’t ultrasound veterans, it doesn’t take long to get comfortable navigating modes, adjusting gain, or switching depths. 3. Image Quality (Within Reason) For superficial and mid-depth scans, the DVK10 delivers usable images with decent contrast and clarity. It’s good for basic anatomical visualization, obstetric checks, soft tissue screening, or quick point-of-care assessments. In my tests, it resolved edges and internal structures reasonably well under favorable conditions (good coupling, minimal interference). 4. Battery & Standby Behavior The battery lasts long enough for several short scans, which is adequate for many portable scenarios. Standby and wake-up times are acceptable, and it doesn’t drain excessively when idle for moderate periods. --- ⚠️ What Could Be Better / Limitations 1. Deeper Penetration & Noise When trying to image deeper organs or through more attenuating tissues (e.g. in a patient with higher BMI or in livestock), the signal degrades noticeably. There’s more noise and less definition at depth. It’s not going to match cart-based high-end machines in this regard. 2. Limited Imaging Modes / Advanced Features While it supports the essential modes (e.g. B-mode, perhaps basic Doppler depending on variant), it lacks many of the advanced features you would expect in premium units (e.g. contrast imaging, advanced Doppler modes, elastography, etc.). If your work demands advanced diagnostics, you may find it lacking. 3. Screen Size & Resolution The built-in display is serviceable, but on the smaller side. For fine detail or when reviewing subtle structures, you’ll want to export images to a larger monitor or connect to an external display if possible. 4. Heat / Continuous Use If you run it for long, continuous scanning sessions, it can warm up. In my sessions over ~30 minutes, I noted some thermal effects (the housing got warm). It didn’t shut down or impair my scans, but it’s worth being cautious. 5. Documentation & Customer Support The manual is adequate but not exhaustive. Some users may wish for more advanced tutorials or resources. Also, I didn’t fully test long-term durability or after-sales support, but for the price point, one should temper expectations. --- 💡 Verdict & Suitable Use Cases The DVK10 Portable Ultrasound Machine offers solid value, especially when portability and convenience are priorities. It’s well-suited for: Point-of-care screening, bedside use Obstetric / prenatal checks (in low-to-moderate depth) Soft tissue / superficial organ exams Mobile clinics and fieldwork Clinics with budget constraints that still need imaging capability However, for highly demanding imaging scenarios, heavy duty continuous use, or advanced diagnostic functionality, it may fall short of professional cart-based systems or high-end portable models. If I were to sum up in one line: “An impressive performer for its class — good balance of portability and capability, but not a replacement for premium systems.”

Used?
Doppler was wet with some type of gel when arrived, this got slime all over my hands.. I don’t know if this was a previously returned item or new. Will be returning.

Easy to use! Great picture quality! Plug and play easy!
This ultrasound machine is AMAZING! It was really just plug and play simple. We have Nigerian Dwarf goats; I charged the machine, connected the probe and used the ultrasound conducting gel and got results. The entire process (except for charging) took less than 5 minutes. This machine can be used anywhere because it doesn't need internet access which is a huge help and improvement from other wireless/bluetooth probes that I have used before. Anyone that raises livestock will not regret purchasing the ultrasound machine; it is without a doubt money well spent to not have to pay for veterinary ultrasounds or blood tests. The whole process was painless, it will quickly pay for itself. The picture quality is also excellent with good back lighting and a good sized screen. It also comes with a good quality zippered storage case. I should also note that I am not an ultrasound expert, but it was so intuitive to use that anyone could use it. I will be recommending this machine to all breeders that I know.

Portable ultrasound machine
I bought this portable ultrasound machine in order to detect pregnancy in my female dog. It did serve its purpose very well! I found it easy to use, the only downsize word that the instructions are not as detailed as I wish they had been. But this is overall a great product!

So cool!
This portable animal ultrasound machine has been a total game-changer for my farm and breeding program. It’s lightweight, easy to operate, and delivers impressively clear images even out in the field. I’ve used it to check pregnancies in my goats, miniature cows, dogs, and even my hairless cats with great success. The rechargeable battery holds a strong charge and lasts through multiple sessions. It’s also compact enough to take anywhere, which makes it perfect for both farm and in-home use. Highly recommended for any breeder or animal care professional looking for dependable results!
