It is absolutely impressive! The picture quality is outstanding — ultra clear and vibrant even in a bright room. The projection size is huge, which makes it perfect for movie nights at home. It’s also very user-friendly and easy to set up. Truly a high-quality projector that’s worth every penny. Have to Update: I purchased this on February 4, 2025, and have been thoroughly impressed with the projector's quality and performance. What truly surprised me, though, was the incredible customer service I received five months later, in July. I noticed that a new promotion was offering a free XGIMI Floor Stand with the same projector, so I reached out just to ask. To my surprise, Sophie H from the support team responded promptly and kindly. While she couldn’t do a price match, but generously offered to send me the floor stand as a gesture of goodwill. That level of care and support, months after my purchase, is rare and truly appreciated. It’s clear that XGIMI not only builds great products but also stands behind them with outstanding service. Truly recommended!

I bought this to replace an Epson EF22 1080P projector. The Epson was pretty good, great colors and image, but I wanted a 4k projector ultimately. I was searching for a while and stumbled on this projector. There wasn't a lot of reviews for this model specifically, but I saw decent reviews for their other older models so decided to bite the bullet and get it. I am amazed by it. Great picture quality, colors and brightness/contrast. I use this projector in a dark room directly onto a white wall without any projection screen. Looks great in darkness, and it's bright enough to be usable during the day, but it won't replace your TV in a well lit room. Speakers are good for me. I appreciate that they are front facing since I set up the projector behind me. Aesthetics are nice, it really looks elegant and has a nice weight and build quality. I got this projector $200 dollars off, so I am very happy with the price that I paid. I don't think I saw anything else in the market that looks this good, produces such a good image, and is relatively cheap. I'm no expert, but I am not disappointed with this purchase, and have been having a great time watching movies and series on it. Cons: NO NETFLIX on stock Android TV. I had to buy an Apple TV 4k streaming box. You can also buy a Roku or a Chromecast 4k.

This would be a five star review if it has an aux output for my speaker system. It would truly be perfect, but I had to buy and adaptor and use a Roku for my sound system. There is Blue Tooth so it's not totally impossible to use an external speaker, but I'm a tad old school. But this image is GREAT. The story here is complex because I almost didn't buy it. I'd bought a more expensive laser projector but it was delayed. Decided to order this to see if I liked it but forgot to cancel the other. I got both! The good news is that this one was a lot cheaper and yet looked just as good. The built in stand made it flawless to set up on a shelf. I decided to keep it for my bedroom and a travel projector. It's really great, not going to lie. I really do think it's a five star projector in every way except the lack of an aux out. But really, love that it's small and the image is great. I'm new to laser after using standard bulb-based projectors for years, but I'm glad I made the jump.

XGIMI Horizon S Pro - Awesome projector! I had ordered a Nebula that costs almost the same as this one, maybe about $200 less and it did not work for me. But this projector is great! Excellent 4K quality and I love that it plays 3D movies! Of course it’s not a $3k projector so you can’t expect it to be the best quality in the market but believe me, you will not be disappointed. And no, I did not receive an incentive or gift card to write this review as other projector companies do. This is my honest review. Excellent quality! I use it on a 125” screen and it looks clear! I wanted an ultra or the new 20 series but those are too expensive. I didn’t think I was going to like the S Pro for the price I bought it for but man was I mistaken.

It's generally great, image is amazing but it doesn't have all apps in the app store for example you can't download Netflix

I upgraded from a much cheaper xgimi projector (that I will continue to use in another room) and am blown away by the quality of this one. Everything works flawless!

I'm impressed with this for dark room viewing which I use it for exclusively. It's projecting onto a medium gray blue wall. I used the wall color adaption mode and the color is vibrant, great contrast, saturated and looks very natural with HDR 4K movies and SDR HD TV shows. It's bright and clarity is excellent, very easy on the eyes. I also have an LG OLED and the picture quality is very close to that, surprisingly. The user interface is very good, easy to understand and lots of options. It's slightly slow but it's not bad at all. Having this with an Atmos soundbar, which this is connected to via HDMI, is like having a real big screen theatre experience at home. The sound from the unit is ok, but it can't match a good sound system. I'm projecting about a 120 inch wide image on the wall. Looks fantastic! I've had it for a few months now, and enjoy having it as a movie night option.

This projector comes with Android TV as its launcher, not Google TV. This makes parental controls more complicated and content suggestions less straightforward. Every time I turn on the projector, the focus is misaligned, but above all, the keystone is misaligned, and it is very annoying to have to realign it every time the device is turned on. I have not found a way to correct this setting. That is why I gave it four stars.

I am very happy with the product: very good quality, save my money for watching movies in a theatre.

The projector itself is working perfectly and meets expectations. The only concern is the remote that came with it. It has visible scratches, which strongly suggests that it may have been previously used.
