Morrisons Valencia Orange Ice Lollies 4 x 73ml

Great alternative to ice creams with lots of additives in them. Also I personally prefer sugar rather than artificial sweeteners.

The best ice lollies. Tbh they are the reason I shop at Morrisons, as I don’t love the somewhat bitter edge to Del Monte, nor the additional features of ice-cream centres or weird shaping of other brands on the shelves; not to mention the additional ingredients, derived from synthetic or different sources, most of which I am allergic to! So the elegantly simple recipe of Valencia Oranges, the naturally sweetest variety packed with flavour, a little sugar & water to form a syrup to help turn the oj into a more protected form to freeze (as anyone who’s tried making oj ice pops will agree, just oj and water doesnt work) and you have the best ice lollies of the nearest supermarket competition. Except that is all lies, actually, as I dont want everyone to know about these gems, making sure they are not in the line ahead of me with all the lollies Also, not for kids. We have to band together on this one. Mum’s, Dad’s or Auntie’s or Uncle’s up lollies. That’s it, them’s the rules.

My husband loves these Valencia orange lollies and it seemed a great idea to order some of these along with other items from Morrisons in early August. I wish I could say they were great as usual but unfortunately they had started to melt by the time they were delivered. I’m not supposed to mention packaging but I’m afraid total lack of refrigeration during delivery caused the lollies to arrive in less than perfect condition. I now have some misshapen lollies in my freezer. Not good enough, Morrisons!!

By far the tastiest orange lolly and quite healthy too - low in calories and made from fresh orange. However - they are very rarely in stock!!

Very tasty and refreshing. Love them.
