Works great. I keep my ice cream making bowl in the freezer covered with this lid ready to use FYI I see othered post that it did not fit their ice cream maker bowl but it does fit an authentic kitchen aid bowl. Perhaps theirs is a knockoff bowl

I bought this for my 5 qrt bowl and cut a hole in the middle for the attachments. Most of the plastic bowls, including the one I bought don't fit and this was perfect. Since I cut a clean hole, the silicone shouldn't rip either. I SO recommend doing the same thing if you're struggling to find a snug lid for your bowl.

Works great even for the 5qt mixing bowl. I used them only it as a cover when I need to rise though.

I have purchased a couple of these lids now because they fit my needs so well. I make a lot of home made doughs and it's nice not to have to dirty several bowls. This lid keeps my doughs from drying out while proving. They are heavy duty, and easy to clean. Great lids and fit my bowls nicely.

They fit over my kitchen aid mixer bowl but I can't lower the stand mixer from the lift position.
