Psychi OG Dual Fold Bouldering Boulder Crash Mat Pad for Rock Climbing with Carry Straps

This mat is thicker than most bouldering mats I've seen, which means you get lots of protection but it doesn't level out the ground as much as a thinner mat. It also has a smaller surface area, which makes it easier to carry and fit into smaller landings but means you'd need to move it more if you're doing traverses or overhangs. The foam itself is very stiff which makes for great protection should you land on it, regardless of what's underneath. Turns out it makes a good seat for a picnic too.I found it to be lightweight and easy to carry thanks to the comfortable adjustable shoulder straps. The straps which hold the two halves closed are also strong and adjustable (though puzzlingly long) with metal hooks.The cover appears to be very hard wearing and certainly survived some rough countryside on its first outing without a scratch on it.All in all, if you're looking for a sub-£100 mat which is lightweight, well-made and offers excellent protection over a smallish area, I would definitely recommend this one.

Great climbing mat! I got the blue - it is perhaps a bit bright and stands out against natural tones - a friend got the black one which is a bit boring. If only they had a green one 💚

Great boldering mat, lightweight and with the use of the backstraps one can hike with it for ages. Solid for falling on aswell. 5 stars. Love the colour aswell.

Got this mat for my kid for practicing Parkour.The straps are really sturdy and she is able to carry the mat despite being only 12. The straps are fully adjustable for a kid or adult.The mat is fairly solid, so it will still hurt to land on it, but will definitely help prevent major injury.Delivery was quick, arrived well packaged and we are very happy with our purchase

Well made product, I bought it for use as a crash pad for a Salmon Ladder I built. The fall height would be similar for use in bouldering. Nice padded foam, not too soft and not too hard so it will absorb fall impact well. Buckles and carry straps are nice and well made too.The covering is not made of waterproof material I don't think, so it might get damp really easily!

Landed a number of times on this and it's a nice comfy pad. Good shoulder straps, well made piece of kit. It easliy competes with the £160+ offerings of DMM and other brands.It's not the largest mat in the world, check the dimensions and make sure you can fall accurately...

The mat is thicker than I expected, but therefore offers good protection. It is also really lightweight with good straps, which means it is easy and comfortable for carrying around for the bit.It is very bulky though and can not really be squeezed like other mats can. If you have got enough space in your car that is not a problem, but in a small car it could well be.

I love this mat! I've used it a few times now for aerial silks when I'm rigging outside. So happy I could find one that's easy to take from place to place. (I don't have a car so the backpack straps are a lifesaver.)
