Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat

I wore this hat walking the Camino for a sunny week in Portugal and Spain and it did not disappoint. The brim is wide enough to protect the entire face and the "ponytail hole" in the back kept my long hair off my neck and helped me stay cooler. It packs flat and weighs almost nothing. I've also worn it doing yard work. Durable, functional, high quality, light, and it doesn't look too bad style-wise. It's the perfect sunhat.

Love love love this hat I had one before, but it was a boring khaki and I lost it. This hat is super cute. Love the color. It actually covers your face and neck. It's well-made. You can tighten it up. Why aren't more hats made like this ? I do a lot of outdoor stuff like hiking. hiking backpacking., I run And paddle board in it. I hope I never lose this hat. It's a medium large and I am a small woman and it fits perfect. All other hats Including the big names which I've bought like Northface are crap compared to this hat.

I absolutely love this thing. The coverage is amazing, it stays put, is comfortable, and is easy to pack. It is not the most stylish but I bought it for coverage, not for looks. I wore it on a 14 mile hike in strong Northern California sun in July and it was awesome at keeping the sun off my face and neck.

Works fine in protecting from sun and insects but blocks vision and get blindsided sometimes.

Super cute color and very lightweight breathable, and good quality and finishing. Great coverage! Ponytail opening is a little tight but not a big deal. I am able to pull my hair through and not need a ponytail holder. The l/xl is very large. I have a large head for a women and this is very roomy but adjustable so I kept it because the chin strap takes care of any wind gusts. I bought another hat that was uncomfortably snug and hot to wear.

I love, love, love this hat! I've used it for years, and then somehow I lost it mid-safari in Africa and had to use other hats to shade my face/neck. So I can tell you that the brim is the perfect depth and has the perfect coverage of my face - the baseball cap at least had a ponytail slot so that was good, but no ear or neck protection; a similar neck-protecting vented hat had way too wide a brim all the way around. That extra fabric blocked my ears, so I couldn't hear as well (and others couldn't hear me as well, either), and it acted as extra material to catch the wind to tug it off my head. I've packed it with me on many trips and it "folds" fine. That is, the crown doesn't really have a shape to lose, it's very unstructured. I wouldn't fold it into eighths or cram it into a corner of a suitcase, but it would probably be fine with a spritz of water and spreading it out in its right shape. The hat is very lightweight and the mesh vents are great. The ponytail opening is very welcome, and it's very easy to adjust. It's not couture but I think it's rather fetching compared with some of the "fisherman's hats" that are out there. Other reviews make it sound like it's "cheap" or "flimsy," but I'm not sure what they're comparing it to. It IS very lightweight, but it's water-resistant, easily hand-washable, packable, easy to use, and sturdy enough to have lasted 5 years before my tragic loss at an airport in Africa!

I had this hat, in my cart, for quite a while. Then I took another look, and decided to buy it. I purchased it in a size medium. Hat is unisex. All I can say is, why did I wait so long, and waste my time, when I could have been wearing it. It is by far, the most comfortable hat I own, and I have quite a lot, of sun hats. This one is so light, and has UPF 50+ sun protection. The highest you can get, in a hat. I live in AZ, when even in the early morning, it's hot and sunny. This hat is perfect for my walks. The length of the brim is just right, 4". Shades the sun, without restricting my sight. I also love the neck cape, which is 5". This way my neck, and most of my hair, are not exposed. It also has a ponytail hole, if you choose to wear your hair that way, and a wicking sweatband, under the brim. It has adjustable sizing, in the back of the hat too. I was able to adjust it, to the way I liked. It has a chin strap, and that can be adjusted too, so the hat will not fly off your head, in high winds. It is very well made, and this manufacturer guarantees the material, and workmanship for life.

Perfect for traveling, well made and lightweight. Easy to pack or roll up in backpack or luggage. Great sun protection and a good value for the money!

Hat came slightly dented in the brim as it was packed in soft plastic. Pls relook the packaging. I dont understand how an expensive hat like this sd be so shoddily packed.

I just love this hat. So light weight and best fitting hat I’ve ever owned. Doesn’t flip up in the wind. Very breathable. Highly recommend!

We are an active family and everyone in the house owns Sunday Afternoon hats. They dry fast, stay on, keep the sun off your whole face and neck. They fold flat for easy packing. We take them everywhere we go.
