I first saw this on an internet video and thought that's what I need. It is not a cheap item but it was worth the purchase for me as I have problems with water retention and on occasions have to monitor my liquid in and out. The bottle came with a replaceable filter that works well and helps give the water a fresh taste. It is also self cleaning, it uses an ultraviolet light to kill off any bugs that are in your tap water. My only criticism is not with the bottle it is the app that records your daily consumption. I have loaded it both on my iPad and my Android phone, the version on my iPad lets me both monitor the water I drink from the bottle and add extra records for other drinks I may have had. The Android version seems to be limited to the bottle only stats with no way of adding other drinks. Other than that I would recommend this if you have need or just want to record your daily intake of liquids.

Now I’ve seen a lot of smart water bottles, they’re all pretty rubbish and just a bunch of buzz words slapped together to make a “good enough” looking to investors product. And when I first saw these bottles I thought the exact same thing would be the case. But I was pleasantly surprised by the reality. Now the app is clean and works great tracking your water intake excellently, it’s a bit weighty but not in a terrible way, if anything making it feel more higher quality. It’s been pretty durable, like I don’t treat water bottles well in my everyday life and it’s held up, and the size is a bit big but not insane which I’m okay with.

I’ve been using this water bottle daily, and it has a lot going for it — mainly the build quality and the taste of the water. But after spending some time with it, I’ve also picked up a few downsides that are worth mentioning. ✅ What’s Good • Build quality feels premium The bottle is solid, well-made, and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. It gives that “buy it once, use it for years” impression. • Clean, fresh-tasting water The filter definitely does its job. The water tastes noticeably cleaner, and it’s refreshing to drink compared to straight tap water. • Simple setup Installing the filter, washing the parts, and getting it ready took barely any effort. Very beginner-friendly. • Lightweight enough for daily use The bottle isn’t heavy, even with water inside. Easy to carry around the office or take on walks without feeling like a burden. ⚠️ What Needs Improvement • Sipping is harder with the filter It slows the flow quite a bit. You need a bit more effort to sip properly, especially when you’re thirsty. • Water counter doesn’t work For me, the tracking feature simply doesn’t register anything. It’s basically just there for show. • Not great value for money For the price, I expected a bit more — especially that all features should work. It feels slightly expensive for what you actually get. 🎯 Verdict It’s a good water bottle with clean-tasting water and premium build, but the slow sipping and non-functional water counter hold it back. And considering the price, it doesn’t hit the “value for money” mark.

I was going to submit a 1 star review and return the Purevis 2 because the water wouldn’t flow and the lid leaked. Then I discovered what I was doing wrong. I had been pushing the filter straw into the cap then screwing them both into the bottle. The solution is to drop the straw into the bottle, align the lid with the straw then screw the lid down. Now the water flows and the lid doesn’t leak!

Admittedly this bottle is good. If you fill this with cold water from the fridge it will stay cold for most of the day but that’s not why you buy this bottle it’s the self cleaning and filtration. I tested this with water testing strips to see just how good it was compared to tapwater from a glass. The results of barely noticeable. Looks good feels good. I will take this on my next hiking adventure. Thanks for the filter but this is definitely not worth more than £80.

I must confess that I was reticent about the water bottle due to mixed reviews and thought I would have to return it when on initial set up it was leaking and the water flow through the straw wasn’t great. However. After realising the straw wasn’t sitting in the lid properly and getting it to ‘click’ into place, the bottle is working flawlessly and I LOVE IT. The fact that I have quality, clean water anywhere I go is a huge relief, as I am very health conscious. The water in the bottle is pleasingly cold, tracking helps me keep tabs on my hydration and to clean the sipping part on top I simply pour boiling water over the mouthpiece, to kill any bacteria there. I have recommended Larq to countless friends now. Oh, and bonus - sucking through the straw is working my chin muscle so my double chin is gone!

I have struggled to drink water but since purchasing this, my water consumption has gone through the roof! So just for that it gets 5 stars, as this was my purchasing intention. I love that I can use tap water from anywhere and have clean, safe, great tasting water. You can link it to the app, no stress, but I will only be using that to check when to change the filter. Feels and looks premium. Honestly, this is my best purchase of 2025.

Ich habe mir diese Flasche gekauft weil ich das Konzept mit dem Filter und der UV-Strahlung toll fand. Da ich normalerweise Leitungswasser ohne Filterung trinke, wollte ich mir mal ein „Upgrade“ gönnen. Die ersten Tage habe ich es ohne Filter probiert und war fasziniert von der Flasche! Es lässt sich soo einfach draus trinken und man erreicht schnell das „Ziel“ in der App. Nichtsdestotrotz ist mir aufgefallen, dass das Tracking eher unzuverlässig ist. Es hat meist zu viel getrackt, was natürlich nicht vorteilhaft ist. Zwei Tage ohne Filter wollte ich diese Flasche nochmal mit Filter ausprobieren. Hier wurde ich leider komplett enttäuscht. 1. diesen Strohhalm am Deckel zu befestigen war so schwer!! Er hielt nicht und ich hab dauernd Luft gezogen. Ich musste eine Kraft aufwenden diesen zu befestigen. 2. Nachdem ich es endlich geschafft hatte, musste ich feststellen, dass es sehr schwer ist durch diesen Filter zutrinken. Es ist anstrengend und nicht so leicht wie ohne Filter, welches ich die Tage davor gelobt habe. Dadurch habe ich auch viel weniger Flüssigkeit zu mir genommen als die Tage davor. 3. Das bringt mich zu meinem 3. Punkt. Das Tracking funktioniert nun gar nicht mehr! Ohne Filter wurden bereits 30ml getrackt, jetzt gar nichts mehr unter 100ml! Das ist so schade da meine Trackinganzeige von 2,2l (ohne Filter) zu ganzen 1,2l (mit Filter) gesunken ist. 4. Auch die Erinnerungsfunktions ans Trinken funktioniert nicht zuverlässig. Dazu dass es nur auf der Flasche ab und zu angezeigt wird und nicht am Handy, ist es auch ein fetter Minuspunkt. Ich gucke häufiger auf mein Handy als auf meine Wasserflasche. (ich mein das ist ja der sinn der Tracking app?) Wenn ich diese Faktoren so sehe, bin ich der Meinung, dass die „einfache Ausführung“ ohne Tracking und Filter für mich komplett ausgereicht hätte. Da die Flasche an sich und das leichte Trinkverhalten wirklich toll sind! Kein unangenehmer Plastik- oder Metallgeschmackt. Super einfach schnell viel Wasser zutrinken, wird hier super vereinfacht! Schade! Viel Potential hat sie. Aber für das Geld, lieber die Variante ohne Tracking und Filter!
