Easy to install and works perfectly

First, the Teflon tape was unusable, couldn't find the end of the tape to use it! Second, the pipe that goes into the 50 gallon drum was too long, had to cut it but the filter at the end of the pipe fits into a "tapered" end and now of course it won't fit into the cut end. Poorly engineered!!

Pump is great . Hose is not as great . Hose will melt down after emptying a 55 gal. drum.

Ok, so this is kinda one of those products that I think I’m very happy with but I’m not quite sure 1000%. Let me explain... First of all, the output is good... no, it’s not as fast and convenient as an electric version. But, you never know when you won’t have power available... so this is a more reliable option. I’m also happy about the stainless steel. Nice and durable. According to the manufacturer, this pump can be used on various fluids including diesel. This seems to be a product that will last you for a good long time. That said, you should be aware that much of this unit is plastic too. This is where I start scratching my head. I haven’t yet determined if the plastic is a big deal overall or not. I’m a little disappointed, but the question of the day is, should I be? So far, this pump really does seem to be one that can be relied on for a good long time. So maybe the plastic is not a big deal. Overall, this pump does not feel cheap or flimsy in any way. For now, I’ll give this 4.5 stars, which rounds up to 5. Works great, looks great... the plastic makes me wonder, but honestly, it might not be a bad thing. Buy it with confidence.

I’ve used this pump one time and the next time I used it (yesterday) it would not pick up the fuel. I would not recommend.
