Build quality excellent
This really does work when used on a boom pole. Using this eliminates the need to handle the recorder. Cold shoe mount, threaded screws and locking wheel are all metal and have been phosphated to prevent rust. The locking wheel under the platform where the recorder rests is plastic and very thin and feel flimsy. The length of the thread on the wheel is very short - could be a bit longer by adding a few more threads.

Using it as a shock absorber on my phone holder on my bike and it works.
Using it as a shock absorber on my phone holder on my bike. I got my iPhone camera broken 3 times I thought that this could be a solution, and I’m happy to report that it works like a charm. Strong enough to hold, but springy enough to protect the sensitive camera.

For the price, it does the trick.
I'm using this on a Canon XC 10 and Zoom H2n. It is ok for this but I had it on a Zoom H5 for a bit and it couldn't really take the weight and minimise noise artefact.

NOT SUFFICIENTLY RIGID FOR STABILITY OF A ZOOM H6 PLUS A MICROPHONE. VERY DISAPPOINTING !
This cradle is sold primarily for users of a DSLR and the Zoom H6 multiple channel audio recorder and it’s supposed to mount the whole unit on a Flexi Mount that’s then screwed to a camera’s hotshoe.Unfortunately, the plastic supports are nowhere near strong or sturdy enough to securely add the Zoom H6 on top as the flexible arms are too soft for the unit by itself! If you then try to install the H6 on the hotshoe complete with mic leads or audio leads of any type then the weight is sufficient to cause the cradle arms to collapse completely!I’ve tried the H6 with its own shotgun mic or the mic heads that came with the Zoom box but none are light enough to allow the audio to stay on the hotshoe!

Movo universal tripod/camera/recorder mount
Bought this to attach my H6 recorder to a mini tripod and allow for any vibrations whilst recording my guitar It was easy to fit, arrived in a sturdy box and looks quite robust I think unless it is mishandled it should last well. All the connections are metal and it was very easy to fit it onto both the recorder and the tripod Matches my red tripod nicely so that was a bonus! The red plastic parts seem up to the task and are well made and have flex which if course is necessary to allow for absorbing vibrations. I note someone said theirs arrived broken but as it has a sort of polyurethane look and is not rigid plastic, I think the one I received should be quite sturdy Maybe the earlier model was less flexible? This seems like it is well made and designed for purpose so I am very pleased with the item and would happily recommend it!

Good little item, Does an ample job, good price
I got this for my ZOOM H2n recorder, for my desk tripod setup, I like how it fits my setup and looks good too, Originally i was not overly impressed with the red shock part of the mount, as it looks to the eye weak and flimsy but the material is very strong and resilient and holds the handy recorder well even when shaking it about it just springs back to the original position no problem, In terms of noise reduction, i tested it on both handling the tripod and shaking it, and with it on my DSLR And please to note it does indeed reduce handling noise, Not all of it but a huge amount of it, i would say 80% reduction in unwanted noise, So for that and the price point i would have to recommend, For general purpose filming and audio field recording this should be a handy item in your arsenal.

I think the Zoom may be a bit heavy for it - I think it's meant for a microphone rather than the recorder but it does eliminate
Bought to fix a Zoom H5 recorder to my camera. I think the Zoom may be a bit heavy for it - I think it's meant for a microphone rather than the recorder but it does eliminate handling noise on the camera so pleased with that. I'll see how it goes.
