I normally don't give low level star ratings but....my hand held shower head just died. I had the thing for one month and a day. The shower head wasn't in use...thankfully. I heard a big clank and went to investigate and found the face of the shower head broken on my shower floor. It just fell off.When it wasn't broken, all the spray settings worked and the on/off setting worked...well it leaked a little bit but after the 2nd use it stopped the small amount of leaking.I can't honestly say if it helped give my hair smooth hair or my skin healthy skin since I only had it for a month and I've been testing out new shampoos at that time. Also, its a pain to find an arm holder for it because the hand held arm is bigger then the typical ones you buy at the stores so you have to take the thing with you to stores to find one that actually fits it. The one on amazon that is suggested to buy with it is a hit or miss or, at least, that was my impression reading all the reviews on that shower arm holder it suggests.

This shower head is amazing! I have already had numerous comments on my hair looking shinier and brighter. For sure my hair is much more manageable. In addition, I feel as if my pores are tighter on my face. My scalp feels healthy and not as dry. In addition, my skin feels softer. All of this and it hasn't even been a week! I hope it continues to work or that I maintain the success. Good price and you never have to change the filter. Also, I like the various settings and it has the right force of water flow for my husband and me. Please note that you will need a hose and bracket. I just went to local hardware store and bought a cheaper shower head that included both those items in it. Worked perfect and took around 5 minutes to install.

Living in the Southern California desert, means living with insanely hard water. You get used to the fact that your soap will not lather and it takes a bit more shampoo than you'd normally use elsewhere. This shower head is amazing in the way it softens the water. It does have a pretty forceful flow, so you'll need to buy a fairly heavy duty hose and holder for it. We found that the cheaper holder from our previous generic hand held shower head was not big enough or strong enough to hold it. After fighting it falling down several times, we bought a better holder.That's the only real drawback of these shower heads... no hose or holder. I do wish they'd come with one, because they are a bit expensive and you have to factor in the extra cost. That being said, you can't find a better water softener than this except for the expense of a whole house system for a lot more than this.

This is great! I love it. It is light weight. It doesn'the make my skin & hair dry out either. But beware it is light plastic so don't drop it, my first one broke. I did save the beads from it though. But at this cost it wasn't such a big loss!

This shower head performs as well as it is expected. I love the spray and the water does feel different on my skin. I still wonder if it is taking all of the Chlorine out of the water as it says it does. My concern is because when subjected to warm water the Chlorine is not broken down in these types of filters unless this is a greater technology I am not aware of. One draw back is the shower head holder is the pits. It does not stay in place so I have to just let it hang.

I was looking for a handheld shower head filter for clorine and other impurities in the city tap water. This one isn't it. The thing cracked in very little time. I'm not sure if the negative ion idea is even effective. If you want a shower filter, and can mount it on your shower's water pipe, pay the extra money and get the shower filter made by Aquasana. The filter must be replaced every 6 months, but it really works. Made my hair hard. Left a sort of residue on my hair so I had to stop using it.

Cons:Not as described, recieved blue nozzle instead of white!No name Chinese brand.Questionable quailty and material.Time consuming exercise.Expensive.Pros:Made a concerted effort to resolve the matter.Issused a timely refund, which spoke volumes!
