Great Customer Service
These are great phones with a lot of distance between base and handset. Having multiple handsets lets me leave these in various buildings on the farm and be able to find a phone for outgoing or incoming calls. I've also taken to carrying one around in my pocket as I go about farm chores if I'm expecting a delivery or a friend. They have worked flawlessly. They do have trouble getting a signal when I'm in a metal building with no base unit - understandable. The sound is good on the speaker phone function, I can stand them up or lay them down to talk while I am cleaning, weaving, crafting, whatever.I have bought these annually for 2 or 3 years now. We have a problem with lightning!! Since the lightning destroys the base unit, I buy another set and then call vtech and have them walk me through manually resetting the extra handsets to use on the new base. From now on, I've got to commit to unplugging both power and phone cord whenever a storm's in the forecast.

Only had them three days purchase insurance
I can tell you we liked our old set and very happy we purchased the insurance. Our DTE Energy company keeps having power surges and this time blew out our Xfinity Wifi, our whole house telephone system and our sump pump. They had to pump our basement out of 4" of water. The Asurion Insurance we paid $9.99 for kicked in and they immediately sent us a label to pack up all three of our phones and take to UPS. Naturally it was on a Sunday so waited until Monday. Monday took to UPS and by the time husband got home we had an e-mail sending us a gift certificate so we could purchase new phones. Naturally ours not available so ordered a set that cost about $39 more with insurance. The new phones arrived the following day. So great turn around. The only complaints are the phones are suppose to be new 2023 but when we opened the box the directions and date on the phone say made in 2020. Plus the batteries go in but very difficult to shut the back of phone - keeps clicking open due to the bend in small wires. One of the phones didn't charge due to this problem but we finally have taped back shut and it's charged.

Easy setup. Has decent range
Easy setup. Has decent range (works 100 feet away through two walls out in the barn). Appreciate the "caller announcement" feature, keeps me from have to go to the phone just to find out it is a telemarketer!!

some features are not available in cell phone mode
I got this to simplify the cell to land line connection. Unfortunately the answering machine does not work when in cell phone mode, nor was my ringer choice. It seems like it has a lot of good features and i like you can run off the land line and the cell, but i was looking to simplyfy my Jack2Cell setup (which bluetooths to a cell and the phone plugs into the blutooth device)

Functions perfectly
These phones are excellent. They are a must have. They sit perfectly in each room. The call block works fine, setup is easy and a good value for your money.

Absolutely horrible menu interface
This is the product I have most regretted ever buying. It is insanely difficult to do even the most simple operations. All of which are arcane and non-obvious and require far more steps than they should.Simple things that ought to just happen, don't. Picking up the phone does not answer it. You have to press a button after you have picked up the phone. Why? Phones have been out there for a very long time. It doesn't require a new way of doing things here.Dialing a number from the phonebook is a many many step operation which more likely than not ends up with function you didn't want such as editing the number.Absolutely insane. After many weeks of use, I am planning to put back my former (Panasonic) phone set. Its one key disadvantage was that the signal is rather weak. OK the current phone is great on that score. But everything else is just so bad I don't think I want to deal with it any more.

Lots of features, but you can't rename each phone
This phone system has more features than I can use. I like the clarity of the calls, and the best part is that you don't need to record your own answering machine message. It also has a feature where unknown callers will need to say their name and enter the # symbol if they want to get through to you. This will eliminate a lot of robocalls. The only thing that I wish that I could do with this phone system, is to be able to rename each phone for intercom use. As it is now, it'll just list the phones as, Base, Phone 1, Phone 2, Phone 3, Phone 4 and Phone 5. So now you'll have to memorize where each phone is for each location. Our Panasonic system we were replacing, you could rename each phone as, Bedroom, Kitchen, Living room, etc..
