Verizon 5G Budget King
I needed a cheap, but somewhat capable Android phone for a college course I was taking, and came across this gem for $42. The phone works well for what I need it for, Android app development, and is relatively feature rich with a nice screen. One minor annoyance is that it required an active Verizon SIM just to setup Android. Luckily that is my carrier so I just did a SIM swap to setup the phone. After that, no SIM is needed, although I put in an inactive Verizon one. For the price, I am extremely happy with my purchase and now have a spare phone if something happens to my primary.

Great Value! Works with Verizon Post-Paid
After my son broke two phones in the space of 3 months, I decided to buy him the cheapest thing I could find. This was suspiciously cheap, but it said it works on Verizon so I gave it a shot. I am actually really impressed! When I saw that it was a Verizon pre-paid phone, I was afraid that it wouldn't work on my post-paid plan, but I took it to the Verizon store and they put a sim card in it and it works great. Even the performance isn't bad. Sure, it's not flagship level of processing, but I've seen phones that cost 10x what I paid for this that were a lot slower and more painful to use. My son plays games on it and hasn't complained at all about performance. I also think in my case the plastic construction is a bonus. I put a case and a screen protector on it and so far it's held up even to his abuse. This is a great option for someone who just needs a phone they can use on Verizon.

Phone is locked and would not accept a Verizon sim card.
The phone is locked and will not continue past the "this is not a Verizon sim".It came with instructions that warned of the possibility of this error message, however, the instructions say to connect the phone to Wi-Fi to remove the error. It isn't possible to connect it to Wi-Fi because it won't allow you into the setting to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot or router. The phone came one day early and looks to be in good shape it would not come on until after charging. The only issued as far as the phone itself is the charging port is very loose.

No SIM card and other SIM card won’t read
I will more than likely be sending the phone back. It didn’t come with a SIM card so I bought one actually too and both of them say they can not be used with the phone but are both Verizon SIM cards I will take it to Verizon on Monday to see if they can get it to work if not I’ll send it back and get a refund

Meh. It generally works but thats about it.
This thing is a real turd but for $160 bucks it still gets 3 stars. It generally works. Not very well. CPU is pretty slow and sometimes app will randomly crash. The UI is basic glitchy and primitive. The edges of the screen are SUPER sensitive so get a case or plan to hold this thing like a delicate flower unless you want random screen touches to get in your way.A fair replacement for a phone broken under contract or without insurance while not having to pay another $1000 for a piece of glass. It does generally work. Don't expect a flagship model.
