Good value for money, decent bass
Put this in my 2017 Audi Q7 to replace the standard audio subwoofer in the boot. What a difference it makes, wish I'd done this sooner.

Great alternative replacement woofer for JBL Control 5
If like me you don't want to pay £100+ for a genuine C5003 woofer, then this is a 1/2 price alternative. You'll need the 4ohm version, which has similar specs to that of the original driver. The 60w RMS should be more than enough power handling for average to loud listening. In the box it's hard to tell the difference between the original and the Dayton. The only mod that had to be done was to reverse the clamping ring to get a firm grip of the driver, everything else just fits a treat. All in all a great cost effective compromise for those with tight purse strings.

On the money.
Its doing what all the other reviews said it would. Fine speaker for the money and perfect for my prototype boxes.Still running in but good so far.

I got a pair of these as an upgrade for the speakers in a r56 mini. Made a massive difference running from the head unit as a full range, but have recently added an amp into the system with crossovers so they are now running for just lower frequency/ mid bass and below and they now sound even better. Only thing I am a little disappointed with is the magnet has come loose from the basket of the speaker but this doesn’t seem to have affected the performance so I have left it for the time being. Would definitely buy again/ more of them.
