These pens were reasonably priced and are a joy to use when writing to my pen pals or working in my junk journal. The tips are fine, so take your time writing and the ink will flow smoothly, which helps the colors really stand out.

Updated again: Adding another sample picture done with the Highlights 22 color set. They are super excellent pens! Updated: Adding a sample done with the most recent set of 22 colors that I picked up during prime days. The new set has added some nice colors to my original set. Quality is just as good. I love these pens! Will likely order more sets. TIP: Do NOT press hard with these. They have juicy, free flowing ink and very responsive ball points. You only need to barely touch the paper to let that ink glide out. For this reason, I don't think these would be appropriate for younger children who do not yet have the motor skills to be delicate - they will have poor coloring results and likely break the tips quickly. These are definitely for teenagers and adults IMHO - and an excellent choice. Original Review: I only wish there were more colors. These are super smooth and can even cover large areas without streaking if you use the right technique. You can lay colors over top of each other once the bottom layer dries, just be sure to use a very light touch and let that smooth flowing roller ball do the job.

Very good! All the colors are super cute and they dry fairly fast, there’s a mixup on the color sheet where there’s a space for Gray (G-02) but there’s no just gray in the pack, but there is cloudy gray. Not a huge deal it’s the same color but it took me a second when I opened the pack!

I draw a lot, and these are excellent pens for my style of drawing. They are great for fine detailing, which is most of what I draw. They are not as great for large sections of saturation, like in coloring books. They tend to struggle with ink flow over long pen strokes. For fine details though, they produce great color saturation. They take a moment to dry, but once dried they don't smudge. Each color is reasonably distinctive from the others. The caps don't work well and can be a pain to snap back on. Aside from that, they are well made and not flimsy. They work as well as some of the more expensive art pens I've used, so these are a bargain for me. I can make beautifully vibrant art easily with these pens, and I will definitely buy them again.

I am a person who owns approximately 5,000 pens. I have everything from every color of Bic Gelocity to TUL to about 200 aryclic gel pens to Frixion pens from Japan to the entire Mattehopper collection. I especially love pens that can write on dark paper. These pens arrived on time, in tact, and in perfect condition. There were no leaks, no issues with the caps being difficult, and none of the other problems I read bout in some of the reviews. I will say that I would not recommend them for coloring as they are a fine point (0.6mm) pen. However, they're perfect for journaling, note taking, greeting cards, love notes, everyday use, doodles, and would be perfect for fine, delicate artwork like mandalas and very detailed artwork. Because they're fine point pens, they're not very juicy (for which I am thankful). If you're looking for something juicy for coloring, I would suggest a 1.0mm juicier acrylic gel pen or even an acrylic dual tipped felt tipped marker. Otherwise, these are perfect for writing on either dark or light paper. I love them! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

There are so many color variations in this pack of 30! They get lighter as they dry, and I plan to use these to highlight details in coloring books and such. I saw how many people enjoy this product, so I had to check it out for myself. I loved gel pens as a child, and continue to love them as an adult. A really good value, great quality, and they write so smoothly!

Got these for Christmas and I'm very impressed with them. These work very well come with swatch charts so if you fill those out first you get to practice how the ink applies. So many colours and all work well.
