Wow! This is my favorite pocket knife I've ever owned! Not too thick so it feels good in the pocket, even with the deep pocket carry. The ceramic ball bearings make it so when you open the knife, it acts like an assisted opening. The materials are high quality and the overall size is perfect! Great steel and sharp blade. Plus it looks awesome. This was my first time purchasing this brand after a lot of research but it won't be my last time. They made a forever customer outta me.

An excellent pocket knife, perfect size blade for me since I have a little larger hand's. Very nice grip and scary sharp blade. Very smooth opening and closing. Blade style is very stylish. Well worth the price!!

You would think at the sub $60 price point Civivi must have cut corners right? Noppeee feels great in hand l, super sharp, glides open no matter what action I use (not too loose) and closes with ease. One hand operation, nice and light but still feels substantial. Definitely on the larger side as far as a pocket edc but that’s what I was looking for. Good buy, more than worth the money

I honestly feel like this should cost a lot more. The quality and build are prestige and it even LOOKS more amazing. The blade opens perfectly smooth along with a satisfying snap and it's perfectly centered and SHARP. The handle feels incredibly smooth with just the right amount of grip. The jimping is nice and GRIPPY, and the pocket clip slides on to your pocket like butter. All that and it still manages to be light in your hands and pocket. I would've easily paid a hundred bucks for this and have zero regrets. Just get it and you'll see how quickly it becomes one of your favorites.

A great knife but a bit on the larger side for my liking.

This is my first large knife from Civivi. Wanted something for camping trips to prep food and tinder. What a well built beast this is. Super smooth opened with the flipper and thumb studs. Opens with a very authoritative “snap”. One of the sharpest knives out of the box I’ve owned. Just pops hairs off my arm with no effort. For such a big knife it’s surprisingly not that heavy. Has a nice balanced feel. The shredded G10 handles makes it look unique and offer a nice grip. The closing action is also smooth. With a little practice after pressing the liner lock the blade with those smooth bearings can close fully unassisted. A brute of a knife that doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommend for camping!!

As someone who only bought higher end knives over the last 40 years, this Placoid was a very pleasant surprise. Nice design and tightly built, sits flat in the pocket, but with a large enough blade to mean business. The blade itself is just beautiful to look at. A couple of passes on a stone for insane sharpness. The wood is classy and warm to the touch. It opens smoothly one-handed with just a little practice. Not going to punish the blade so I cannot attest to toughness but so far, it is a fantastic piece.
