A nicely made and well-featured projector
Amazon sell hundreds of home projectors covering a very wide price range from under £50 to over £24,000. For casual home use and/or for presentations in a small hall, I have found that there is no need to spend more than £100. This new model, the HY320N, is an upgrade to the HY320 with some additional stand-out features which retails at under my £100 benchmark. It is well-made and boxed, and comes with a remote control and instruction manual. It worked well with my laptop and HDMI input, gives a bright image, and has an onboard speaker. This does give a rather tinny sound which is to be expected from such a small unit. However, there is the option of connecting external speakers via Bluetooth. There are inputs for HDMI and USB and also for a headset. It can also connect with both Android and Apple devices The stand-out features mentioned above are the inclusion of the new operating system WhaleOS, which enables the projector to access Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime and Disney+. The user first needs to set-up the projector to connect with their home WiFi, which I found very easy to do. One would then need to register with Netflix etc. after which all the films, series, etc. should be accessible. Without an existing membership, individual films etc. can still be watched by making a payment. The remote control has buttons for each of the 4 TV channels. In addition, there is also an in-built Alexa-style voice assistant. This accessed by pressing the voice input button on the remote and giving an instruction, such as changing the screen brightness or sound level. This is a very nice and unexpected feature. The HY320N is a nicely made and presented piece of kit which I found worked well. I have a couple of minor gripes – I would have liked a longer mains lead and a lens cap. Overall, this is an very nice projector with features not usually found on a sub-£100 device.

Great value, works well.
I’m loving it, I wasn’t expecting much due to the price but the picture quality is good and the software is decent and not laggy. The internal speaker isn’t up to much but it pairs with my Bluetooth speaker and headphones, I’m mostly using it for watching Amazon Prime and it’s perfect. I can’t get BBC iPlayer working properly, it won’t let me navigate around in the app, but ITV X, my 5 and Channel 4 work fine. I can stream wirelessly from my iPad to it so long as the software allows Airplay (which rules out iPlayer and Virgin TV Go)

Great budget projector
Picture quality is great, sounds is above average but get a Bluetooth speaker if you like the deep movie sound effects, Manual focus but keystone works well .Not so great in daylight but excellent at night just like a home cinema.Performance is good it's fairly quick.

Good Budget Projector
Smart features work really well and make it easy to use. Picture quality is solid for 1080p, colours look great especially in a dark room. It’s a bit on the noisy side and the built-in speaker isn’t the best, but with a Bluetooth speaker it’s spot on.

Great projector good price
Bought this great projector, the only downside is watching EastEnders in 100in misery but awsome for films and everything in between, recommended

Sadly somewhat disappointed
Honestly very disappointed. It’s fine for Netflix & Prime, easy to set up and adjust Does not deal very well with any ambient light but one set up as long as you only want Netflix or Prime it’s ok However it crashes incessantly on Disney + and absolutely will not mirror reliably When dark picture is fine, cleared good colours and projects onto my 120” screen nicely Haven’t used it without a sound bar but the little bits I’ve heard from it when not connected I’d recommend a sound bar, can get them pretty reasonable these days Overall for the price if the above issues aren’t dealbreakers for you it’s ok As I’m now having to replace it due to the mirroring/+ situation it’s much less of a bargain unfortunately

A bit rubbish
Pretty rubbish software very slow and crashes a lot also has updated maybe 6 times in the month I've had the thing and that takes 20 minutes a pop. Guess it would be okay if you connected to a fire stick or playstation or something along those lines. The image is pretty poor when the scene of the film is dark you can barely see what's going on.

avoid
It is native 1080p , but remote worst than in early 80's , android tv hyper slow ( I doubt , that is android 13 and fake ram memory capacity ) = Best way is to avoid than projector and buy something else !!!

Looks okay when playing... But not a 4k option on YouTube. Definitely not 4k. Native resolution I am not sure. Ok with Bluetooth and wifi. Good picture. Acceptable in this price range. But description is deceiving
