Great cheap gag gift. Keeps drinks cold longer than real ice.

Can't compare to ice when seeking to chill a drink. Maybe it works better for someone who wants straight liquor over "rocks" that don't melt and thin the drink, but it doesn't work at all for a mixed drink, doesn't keep it cold enough.
